I made Jessie bumbling and awkward partly because it was easy to imagine and partly because I totally have a thing for cute girls getting flustered too. XD And ohhh what you said about Lily was also TOTALLY what I was going for.
I'm glad you thought the bouncing back and forth worked! I actually wrote the very first scene and the very last, and then decided it needed fleshing out and realised I couldn't do all of that in the same time period. I'm really glad it wasn't confusing.
