i'm so starstruck, baby could you blow my heart up?

Some interview quotes from here and some photos from the press junket. I wish Will P. had been there!

Asked if there's a possibility that there may be more "Narnia" movies in his future, Ben quipped, "I approached the producers at the after party, after watching very carefully how many glasses of champagne they had. I made sure they had at least three before I broached the question. Caspian is a 70-year-old man, so either they're going to have to bring Howard Berger (the series' makeup artist) and his team and I'm going to wake up very early in the morning or they'll get someone older."
Ahaha, oh Ben.

A young girl with attractive large eyes and the most disarming smile when we met her for the first "Narnia" movie, Georgie recalled that time: "I was very lucky, because I was always paired with James McAvoy, who was great. We had so much fun filming, so we had a lot of fun talking about making the movie. I felt sorrier for the journalists who were interviewing us than for us, because we'd go off on all these tangents, have those inside jokes, and fall asleep. They just had to deal with it—but, yeah, James was really cool to do all my interviews with. I was such a hyper 10-year-old at the time. I take my hat off to him."
♥ Lol. I wonder if she still stays in touch with James at all. I hope so.

Skandar recounted his first encounter with Georgie. "I met her in one of the first auditions I had," he began. "I remember, I was terrified at the whole experience. I was like a deer caught in the headlights. I remember seeing her, and she was very energetic and was bouncing off the walls. I was very intimidated by the whole thing and all the new people.
"But, it was great to get to know her and the other cast, as well. We've all grown together as a family. Everyone gets put in these situations, where you're stuck together and you have to make sure that everything's good. There were never any real arguments. Everything just worked out. We all clicked and we were very grateful for that."
Idk this is just cute.

I leave you with a Skandar in hysterics:

In other news, I'm thinking of putting another kink meme up after Christmas, and I have a new layout! :) (I'm not totally happy with it, but I don't think I ever am. I'm so picky.)

JAMES/GEORGIE.
This is a really big moment for me right now. Nothing, nothing, nothing new related to James and Georgie has even peeked a tiny little bit onto the surface of Narnia fandom for at least four years. FOUR YEARS.

I was very lucky, because I was always paired with James McAvoy, who was great.
It sounds like she's talking about shipping. It's very weird and nice to read.always paired with James McAvoy. How would she even know that?? Because that was the case! It was like that back in the day! How on earth would she know it??
...Maybe she's psychic too.

...WAIT A SECOND. I JUST MENTIONED JAMES IN MY LAST COMMENT. (the tilda-filled one.) HOLY F--K. MY LAST COMMENT HAD DELIBERATE JAMES/GEORGIE UNDERTONES. There was no reason I should have even added that bit into a totally unrelated comment. I haven't even taken an interest in J/G for months. MONTHS. And now, suddenly, just a few days after I mention James/Georgie in a comment, JAMES/GEORGIE-NESS OCCURS IN "REAL" LIFE. I mention it and then Georgie mentions it...without her having any awareness of what J/G actually is. (or I hope not. that'd be weird. and awkward.)

Seriously, though, I'm usually just playing along with the joke for fun, but right now, I swear, I feel like a psychic.
I change my icons all the time, so an ~official icon~ for this wouldn't work. Maybe I should just make a little profile banner/badge that says it. And then, even when I'm not actively in this fandom, it can stay there as a testament to my Narnia Psychic-ness. Y/Y??

Oh now, Skandar's mischievous smile. I missed that.
I saw a guy today with a smile that was a little like that: all secretly grinning.
...I ended up making him carry me to my house.

Skandar's face is such a lovely thing to behold. I'm not even attracted to him, either. It's just a good face.
Also, he is very well-spoken. I appreciate the thoughtfulness he gives to his speaking. Reading or watching interviews with lazy-speaking actors can get mighty annoying. The slurring of the words, or innattention to grammar, repetition of "like" and "you know"...or just plain boring-sounding folks. Skandar is not like that. I like it. :) It's an important part of his personality, I think, and something that fic-writers should take note of. It's just one of the little things that make up who he is as a person.

Skandar's expression in the GIF is so very extreme. Seeing him happy is always cheering to me! :)

I KNOW, IT WAS LIKE EVERYBODY JUST PRETENDED HE DIDN'T EXIST OR SOMETHING FOR A WHILE THERE. And lol omg I didn't even interpret it that way but it TOTALLY makes it sound like shipping. "I was always paired with James McAvoy." And she's so happy about that. I REALLY HOPE SHE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THE FANDOM, THAT WOULD DEFINITELY BE AWKWARD.

Youuuu are so psychic. You definitely need an icon/profile banner/something for it. And I agree about all the Skandar stuff.
