I CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER, IN THIS SCENARIO, REID AND NATHAN SHOULD ACTUALLY BE IN A RELATIONSHIP OR NOT. Like, at first I just assumed they would be, but I kind of think it would be interesting if it was more ambiguous, like there's obviously something there but they haven't acted on it, and so Hotch just can't figure it out, whether Reid is SLEEPING with the kid or if it's some kind of unrequited love thing or what, you know? And maybe when he approaches the subject, the way Reid talks about it makes Hotch ASSUME that they were in a relationship, even though they weren't - just because that's how strongly Reid feels about him. Gah.

Oh my god though, you may have actually killed me with how adorable that image is, of MGG and Anton and the pheasant sheets. YOU MADE ME WRITE THIS PIECE OF TOTALLY OUT-OF-CONTEXT NONSENSE:

"I'm not sure I can do this," says Anton then, and immediately regrets it, because Matthew is looking at him with his eyes all wide and Anton feels like he just kicked a puppy. "I mean—no," he stammers hurriedly, "it's just—the pheasants. I think one of them is staring at me."

Matthew looks momentarily puzzled, and then remembers, looking down at the bedsheets they're currently lying on. He laughs, and it's kind of a high, nervous sound. "Yeah. Sorry. Kind of a boner-killer, right? I should really get, like, normal-person bedding but—"

"No, it's—it's all right," Anton laughs too, "they're kind of voyeuristic. It's kinky. I like it."

Matthew's mouth breaks into a huge grin and he's maybe blushing, just a little bit, as he pulls Anton in for a kiss.
