This is the first Criminal Minds fic I've ever, literally ever read, and I am sooooooo sorry I did not get into this sooner if it's this good. I adored the whole cyclical nature of it, the abuse, Reid looking for affection in places he shouldn't - in both Nathan and Hotch. I really can't say any more about it, because I loved like everything about it and it would come out as incoherent dribble. But this was brilliant.
