I KNOW! Before I started watching, I saw a bunch of caps/gifs of various moments on Tumblr and it was like each one was based around a specific kink and I was like THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN MISSING? BRB CATCHING UP.
I'm so glad it felt real to you. I haven't found any fic that felt quite right to me either, but it's actually so hard - I'm so used to incest fic being all about the guilt and wrongness, and Jedward just don't have that. Like, at all. Which in some ways is refreshing! But yeah, their voices are difficult, because I had to get this unique balance of naive and kinky.
Part three is my favourite too. XD It was what inspired me to write the fic in the first place, actually, because that entire diary room scene made NO SENSE unless I put some UST behind it. They are so WEIRD throughout that entire thing, I don't even know what to think. ...I just watched it again and SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS WITH THAT? WHAT ARE THEY? There is definitely something going on there.
And hnnng YES, Edward was so into the crossdressing. Which I have no complaints about, because it was basically the hottest I've ever found him. But man, he kept wearing the clothes and the wig way after he actually was required to, and then even when it was technically over, he asked Amy to put make-up on him? AND THEN PUT THE WIG BACK ON? He is so going to experiment with that in his spare time, if he hadn't beforehand.
