Yup. This proves it - I will read ANYTHING you write. I mean... it's Jedward. And yet... whoa. And I didn't even see BB this year - I don't have Channel 5 and I said goodbye to it after ten years of watching after the final Ch4 series. Now, goddamit, I want to see the clips that inspired this fic - are they online? These twins baffle me. On one level, they just annoy the hell out of me and I pretty much ignore their existence. And then on another level, their naivety fascinates me and once in a while, something they say just grabs my attention. It's like they are literally not of this world - it's like they genuinely don't have a clue what's going on around them. And I think it's interesting how pretty much everyone (including the parents of the kids who are their biggest fans) NOTICES the cestiness but doesn't seem that fazed by it, just sort of bemused. But that's the thing - I almost feel like they're not so much cesty but rather they think of themselves as one person who happens to have two bodies. Not in the usual twin way, where there's this intense connection between them - there IS no 'between' because that suggests two people/things FOR there to be a connection between. With Jedward, it's just like they're literally one person. Like, I saw them on tv once and they were asked about girls (and they clearly aren't into any of that, either girls or boys) and they said "We don't have a girlfriend." We don't have a girlfriend. I think the phrasing of that is pretty interesting. Anyway, I hate admitting to finding them interesting in any way, but your fic pretty much defined their personalities/characters and what's unique and strange about them, which is why I like your fics, cos character is always the focus.
