Oh, I'd forgotten about that - I only have a vague memory, but I think he just made some comments in a (possibly televised?) interview about Darren's sexuality and he took it really badly? Simon is also known for having made Britney Spears cry in an interview, so, it's not terribly surprising. :/

Some of them are really great! The first couple of seasons that Simon hosted were hilarious.
