hooray! your new layout is super pretty and i second the poll thing! polls are wonderful.

i've wanted a paid account for almost a year now, but i'm horribly afraid that if i pay for something on lj, my mother will discover i have one, and that she will proceed in reading everything not f'locked. which i'm pretty sure she already does but in this instance, ignorance is bliss.

That's what I was so worried about, too. I put it off for ages because of my paranoia but eventually I was like, I REALLY REALLY WANT ONE, so I went for it, and as far as I know she's none the wiser. *touches wood* I know what you mean though. :(
