A few people have mentioned the 'staring like a guy' thing, I just put it in because it's totally how I feel sometimes so it seemed appropriate. Apparently we all do this. XD

And, yeah, I totally had the exact same thoughts about that part when I was writing it, and I wanted the contrast to be clear but not like really really obvious, so I'm glad you picked up on it. :)
