He is GREAT and he is GREAT LIVE and after his show last year I wanted to hug his whole entire face off and be his BEST FRIEND FOREVER. I hate when people write him in fic as being really bitchy or vindictive because he's not like that at all! I'M DEFENSIVE OF HIS INSECURITY!
(Also, blah blah, it made me feel very emotional that he, as a celebrity, shared so many of the self-esteem issues that I, as a pleb, also have, and that he could turn that around into something sparkling and witty that makes people laugh and ugh, I heart his whole being.)
