The other day, my therapist (a straight woman) said to me, very matter-of-factly, that the naked female body was more attractive than the naked male body. I started thinking about it and realised it's not exactly a rare point of view to come across. Naked female bodies are presented to society all the time as being sexually attractive, but it's rare for a man's body to be shown in the same way. I've heard many women say that men look ridiculous naked, and this was what my therapist was saying—that women are just naturally more aesthetically pleasing.

I kind of find that ridiculous. Maybe it's just because I'm bisexual and equally attracted to both sexes, but I find male bodies just as beautiful as female ones, and I think it's a shame that some other women—straight women—apparently don't see this, or are made to feel like they shouldn't see this. We're pretty much told that women must be sexually attractive at all times, especially when naked, but if men don't look so great, well, that's just to be expected.

It's not fair for either sex, and the whole thing (along with the realisation of how many pictures of partially-clothed or naked men I have on my laptop) inspired me to make this picspam.
