OH MY GOD, BEN. STOP BEING SO INAPPROPRIATE. seriously, that pause at :16 after he says she was there last night, WHAT IS THAT, BEN? and he has this little half smile on his face, and ALL THE STAMMERING AND SIGNIFICANT LOOKS. WHAT IS GOING ON? IT IS FREAKING ME OUT. and i can't believe she went to his play? i mean it's kind of expected and like, of course she would go and support him, but also, OMG. THIS PRETTY MUCH CONFIRMS THAT SHE SAW DORIAN GRAY, RIGHT? i am choosing to believe so. and lol at ben's imitation of georgie's mom being that of a seal.
"except without the arguments and the throwing stuff at each other and all that" :O i think it's just like, all the fic, and how in my head georgie's parents are getting divorced right now, but GEORGIE, WHAT IS YOUR LIFE? that whole video is kind of freaking me out actually. i mean they all always talk about how much of a family they are, and they're always so quick to say that, BUT THEY HAVE WEIRDLY BIZARRE REACTIONS HERE. i think you were saying somewhere about their reactions not being like "lol, we're fucking" it's more like, "we DO see each other as siblings, which is why what going on between us right now is so weird." AND YES, THAT EXACTLY. ugh, like I didn't already ship them an obscene amount.
other things i loved: them leaning into each other (<3), and georgie's voice when she says "CHRISTMAS MAGIC" and that last video, when she says "i think, yeah." I JUST LOVE THE WAY SHE SPEAKS, her voice itself, but also how she chooses her words. and actually, i super love that last video. i just love the idea of everyone (and by everyone i mean skandar and georgie and ben, obvs) being kind of super depressed that will and anna and andrew aren't there and just being generally kind of miserable and secluded but will manages to charm his way into their hearts. :)
relatedly (actually not really at all) i just saw the movie and i was surprised by how much will p. wasn't in it? i mean objectively i knew that he was going to be a dragon half the time so he obviously wasn't going to be there for that, but i was surprised by how much he was like off being horrible while the others were off being BAMF, especially when i realized that he wasn't there for like, at least half of their (ben, georgie, and skandar's) scenes together and now i just want ALL OF THE BEN/GEORGIE/SKANDAR THREESOME FIC. i guess i just didn't realize how many scenes they had just the three of them, or actually just the two of them really. ben and skandar pretty much just spent the entire movie just GLUED TOGETHER. seriously, was edmund/caspian the OTP or what?
