Auuuuugh you are so lovely, thank you. ♥ When I saw you mention it on Tumblr I was like "!!" because for some reason this is one of those stories that I convinced myself NO ONE WOULD EVER READ, and so when I get a comment on it I just want to shower the person with love and appreciation.
What you said about the writing being visceral - that means so much to me, seriously, because that's something I always admire/envy in other people's writing. I definitely know what you mean about the 'laminated' feeling, like people are sort of going through the motions of what's happening. And I really love that my writing feels more real than that, to you.
Also super glad that you thought everyone was in character and you could picture it happening. Every now and then I would step outside of it and just be like "WHAT. THIS IS ABSURD. THIS IS THE LEAST REALISTIC THING IN THE UNIVERSE." And I wanted so desperately for it to be at least somewhat believable, and for the three of them to seem like themselves and not like I was just copying the movie/book characters. And Bennnn oh man, it was awful but I was SO ATTRACTED to him while writing this - like, this older more mature version of him, trying to look after them all. I always just write him being irresponsible and having sex with them, so it was a nice change. XD
asdlkjsdaj I don't know what to say to all your admiration except that it means a lot and I sort of love you for it. Thank you. Wow. I'm especially flattered that you took the time to leave this comment even though I know you're much more into X-Men than Narnia RPF now, and probably you aren't in the same frame of mind as you were when you originally read this. I just really appreciate it. Everything. ♥
