THE INTERROGATIONNNN. jfc. i feel bad for nathan, he has to be feeling so guilty. reid is just trying to put 100% of his faith in this kid, standing behind him the whole time, i can't imagine having to utter the words, "they're right, i killed them". THIS PAIRING. but then, even still, when the other body is found and the sheer elation reid must've felt, knowing they had nathan in custody, and yet the killings went onnnn HOW CAN YOU DO THAT TO THEEMMM. and then, fuck, right after reid gets the fullest impression of nathan being innocent, of course the angry boyfriend shows up, and we all know where reid's headed right now, home, WITH NATHAN, this is ridic, i can't even.
Dr. Reid is right. It's amazing, the things you can say in letters. i. am going. to cry. i got your message about what you're currently writing and omgomgomg i will get to that i swear on my fucking life i can't believe the wonderfulness but nggghh. oh--fuck. ugh. i read about morgan breaking down the door (BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR) and hotch being the first to see--to see--. seriously, it's like time's slowing down as the scene forms in my head, it's just. this is the only thing nathan and reid wanted and the moment is so sad and fucked up for them that it's not even happy, it's not at all like what it should be. they were urgent and guilty and knowing and they can't even have this, it's not fairrr.
and when they're at hotch's place, later that night, i love reid standing there in a pair of boxers, riding low on his hips because he's so damn skinny. it's that realistic thing again, reid isn't just lean, he's damn near malnourished, he probably hasn't eaten almost anything ever since the case started, so this. this is good. and the fact that hotch is admiring reid's ridiculous legs is a bonus haha. BED SHARING. HE WOULD'VE SLEPT WITH HIM ANYWAY. oh honey, that just makes you human, it's not your faaaullt. thisss aaugh you create the perfect scenes i swear, hotch finally giving in and reid needing him so bad it hurts JUST STAY WITH HIM HOTCH. the world needs more of hotch waking up next to reid, remembering the feel of his lips and whatnot lol
fucking christ this last scene. now that reid's with hotch there's no way he could go see nathan without him. it'd be like the worst kind of cheating and they'd only be talking with bulletproof glass in between them. but he also still wants to see nathan so bad, god, he just needs hotch there with him. this ending. hotch and reid and christ i don't even wanna think about nathan sitting behind that glass this fic is so fucking heart wrenching. good god, that was fucking wonderful. no lie.
