Ohhhh my god. I am so so sorry I didn't reply to this - I don't think LJ ever sent me a notification for it, I've literally only just stumbled across it now (like ten months later!!) because I happened to be looking at my old fanmixes. And I know that this is ridiculously late but I don't want you to think that I saw your comment and just ignored it, because it's an AMAZING comment and I really want you to know that I appreciate it. Thank you so much for taking the time, I love getting long comments like this and it's especially awesome to get one on something I put so much thought into. This is definitely the mix that I've worked the hardest on, and it also feels quite personal because the songs have been tied to the pairing in my mind for so long. I'm just kind of thrilled that it all made sense to you and told a story because that's exactly what I wanted. It's all the more flattering considering you're not even a Remus/Sirius shipper!
I agree that The Ice Is Getting Thinner is a very fitting song! And I wish I'd seen this comment at the time because I don't really feel able to explain my thought process for the mix now, when so much time has passed since I made it, and of course you might no longer be interested anyway. It seems as though you really got what I was going for with the song choices anyway, though! :)
