To be honest, your holiday sounds pretty perfect. I could so do with a holiday like that right now.

(I do rather love Alice. I just tell myself that I haven't sat through the first three films (god, why?!) and that the novel length, and very filthy, Alice/Bella story I read once is actually canon, and the rest is just a horrible, horrible nigtmare XD).
