Lol, suborbital just posted over at narnia_slash about Wilmos being on TRL. Apparently when asked if he's in a relationship, he said "Yes, but I won't say who or what." Who or what??

I think I'm going to have to go see Prince Caspian either on my own or with my Dad, hahaha. My friends have just been like "...we're not going with you, no way, you'll get too excited." :(

EDIT: WTF, it's not out til the June 27th here?? Agghhh. I thought it was May 16th everywhere! I should really check these things out in advance. :(

gin, rambling, narnia...

I swear to god, gin makes me write better.

Okay, maybe not better, but it frees me up somehow, and makes the words flow way easier, and I usually end up happier with the result.

And I mean, it's not just any alcohol. I was drinking gin when I wrote the first part of The Night Starts Here (the Will/Skandar/Anna fic) and that went so easily for me, and I was just really happy because it was something I'd been struggling with.

And here I am drinking gin and coke and getting on so well with my Petrellicest fic!!

Which is funny, because Liz (my Dad's girlfriend) buys gin every few months, but always complains about it and says it makes her really, like, upset and angry. But it makes me feel ~creative~.

Also Broken Social Scene! I think music makes a big difference. I can pretty much only listen to music without words, or music with hardly any words, when I'm reading/writing, for obvious reasons. And I think Broken Social Scene is the best music to write to.

...I'll just clarify that I'm not actually drunk. The fic probably wouldn't make a lot of sense if I was. Let's hope it does make sense, anyway.
