hardparadeOkay, I am like, less than a minute into the latest episode of Skins, and I am loving it already. I have decided to do my post on this episode whilst watching it, seeing as it's a download. (I missed it last night because I had the most painful period cramps ever and I was basically knocked out with painkillers, blah.)
EFFY IS READING TONY GREEK MYTHS. THIS IS AMAZING. That simple fact is amazing, for one thing, but so is the way that he yelled for her right when he woke up, the fact that they've done this before, and the way that he looks up at her while she reads to him. Awww. ♥
(Also, I swear Effy sounded like way more of a chav last season. You know the first time she spoke? And everyone was all disappointed because she sounded so common? She totally doesn't anymore, what's up with that?)
Love Tony's reaction to Chris/Jal, so sweet, I don't even know why. My crush on Nick Hoult is back, apparently, you guys.
YAY CASSIE/TONY. Okay, I know I saw this scene before in the previews (several times!), but I just love it so much. I love the way Cassie says "I'm sad about them. Aren't you?". The amount of meaning and emotion Hannah Murray puts into those last two words is amazing. And omg, hahaha, I seriously crack up EVERY TIME at the whole 'witch hazel' part of their imaginary date. "And I'd say, 'Witch hazel? What, are you ninety? Get me some fucking painkillers!'" WIN.
The longer Sid/Michelle goes on, the less I like it. :/
I wish I was at this club, it seems fun.

Also, hang on, I just realised I've been in Tony's situation before. My best friend went out with my ex-boyfriend. It was like...one of the worst things I have ever experienced. And I know Tony got hit by a bus and all, so yeah, he's got more to deal with than I ever did, but I totally get what he's going through with this one. Really, really starting to hate Sid/Michelle now. Poor Tony, I want to hug him.
I think Tony is imagining Burnt-Face Man. I think he also may have been imagining Toilet-Stall Woman, but I'll try not to jump to too many conclusions just yet.

And he's right, actually, unfortunately. Sid/Michelle is wrong. As much as I understand why they got together, and as much as I loved the time they had in Michelle's episode...yeah, wrong. And I love Cassie/Tony, and Cassie/Michelle, and Tony/Sid, but...they had it right in the beginning, really.
