So, funny story on how I actually got into this band. It was way, way back before they came to the US, before Scream was released and all I had was a whole bunch of German songs and, like, two English songs that'd been bonus tracks somewhere along the way.
Anyway. I was in the MCR fandom hardcore and one of my UK friends wrote this crossover between My Chemical Romance and Tokio Hotel and I was like WHO ARE THESE DUDES?
And she sent me In Die Nacht and my thought process was pretty much "identical twins who wrote a love song for one another? I NEED TO BE ALL OVER THIS!" and then I got obsessed.
One of the main things you need to know is that Bill seems to regularly serenade Tom and get down on his knees in front of him. Yeah.
And its always during Reden, which is, apparently, a song about this one night stand Bill wrote about Tom having a one night stand. According to translation. (I suck at German). So, Bill drops to his knees and serenades Tom while singing about this random one night stand his brother had. Uh-huh. That's not incestuous at all.
