I know I'm SERIOUSLY late to this party, but I just had to say that this is fantastic. I love how the tension builds steadily and then just kind of explodes at the end, and how palpable Nick's pressures and frustration are. I rarely read fic that actually pings as RIGHT to me, especially in a fandom like this, but you had me convinced. I'm also really impressed by how you managed to use another group's music to reveal so much about these guys. That's just really interesting in a band fandom, but it makes a lot of sense because music is such a huge part of their lives. It all fit together perfectly.
Really, this is just excellent. I'm looking forward to reading your other fics!
