But then I kept it how it was because I feel like for Kings of Leon, NOTHING IS TOO MUCH, and it would emphasise the difference between them and Joe and Nick.

When Nick said, "there's nothing to talk about, Joe", I don't know, my face was basically D: because there's ALWAYS supposed to be something for them talk about.
THAT LINE! I ALMOST GOT RID OF IT, NO LIE. A lot of that scene was written when I'd had a bit too much wine and I re-wrote things and almost decided to scrap that line because it felt really...idk, cliché or something? But I kept it BECAUSE OF EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID. Because I feel like they talk all the time, you know, even about populating Mars and whatever, and, yes, I just wanted that to come across.
