The text is tiny and hurt my eyes, but I did make out that she likes older men. I TOTALLY TYPED 'BEN' INSTEAD OF 'MEN' OH GOD WHAT IS MY LIFE. But that's basically what I was getting at, anyway. The actual point of this post was going to be all the Narnia randomness I've been gathering up from the past few days, but then those pictures turned up and I lost track of what I was doing.

As for videos, Ben interview #1 gives us this quote, which is a wonderful answer to a question I would totally ask him too.

Interviewer: You yourself, you're still a young man. And obviously when you worked on Prince Caspian, the likes of Skandar and Georgie were tiny. It must've been odd to come back and all of a sudden they're like these young adults.
Ben: Yeah, it's very strange, with Georgie and Skandar particularly, to see them change from sort of, uh, I don't know, I think fifteen and eighteen. And even Will, actually, who plays Eustace, when I met him I was kind of (like he's talking to a child) "Hello, nice to meet you," down here, and I see him at the press junket now and I'm like (looks up) "All right. How's it going?" He's just shot up two feet. He grew a foot while we were filming!

I can't even properly explain why I like to hear Ben talking about how much they've grown. I don't understand it. I particularly like how his sentence about Skandar and Georgie doesn't really make sense, haha. I just love him being on that slightly different level to them and seeing them grow up and everything.

And Ben interview #2 gives us Ben's hilarious re-enactment of the dropped-by-Disney fiasco:

Ben: Christmas Eve I got a call from the producer who said 'Disney don't wanna do the next movie', and my heart sank, it ruined my Christmas completely. And then about a week later, they were like, 'oh hang on a minute, all the other studios are fighting over it'. And then another week later it's 'Fox are gonna do it', it was fantastic, and I thought, yeah, we're off, we're gonna do it properly, we're gonna go to Mex...ico...we're gonna go to Mexico? Isn't that dangerous? Yeah, we're gonna go to Australia. Okay. :D

And also Ben making up words and being adorable:

Ben: They cut a lot of that, 'cause I learnt so much choreography that just ended up on the cutting room floor, really. Hopefully on the extras, you can see my full badassiness. Bad...badassness? Cool.

Aaand finally, I had this crazy idea for a Skandar/Georgie/Will P. fic based on the movie The Dreamers, with Skandar and Georgie as Theo and Isabelle, and Will P. as Matthew. And I'm already discussing it with starsimpulse who is being AWESOME, but if anyone who's seen the movie has any input, I would be very happy to discuss further. :D You can read the comment discussion thread here. IT'S REALLY WEIRD, I KNOW, BUT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE IN MY HEAD.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS DEVELOPMENT. and relieved. the lack of knowledge about their living arrangements and parental status has always bothered me. frankly, i'm kind of shocked that she was legit there by herself most of the time, but mostly excited that they are all in these big lonely apartments all by their lonesome. and they don't have their real parents, or their narnian dad, or will or anna, or anyone really, except each other.

it also kind of makes it more likely that she would spend the night there in the first place. because, well it always seemed like out of the four of them, skandar and georgie where the least close. not that they weren't close at all, they obviously where, but it just felt like they were both much closer with will and anna than each other. idk, that's just my impression, but there's also so much stuff that we don't ever see that it's hard to make that kind of judgement. BUT ANYWAY, maybe she starts off staying in the spare room (SPARE OOM) and all her stuff just starts to migrate into there and then maybe one night she just falls asleep in his bed, and then it is a thing. or actually, scratch that, maybe the first night after her family leaves she just shows up at his apartment and he's not at all surprised really when she climbs into his bed and maybe he thinks about pretending to be annoyed but mostly he's just relieved that she's there. maybe he pretends to be annoyed anyway, but still ends up curled up next to her. idk, i am just spewing ideas left and right.

i also love that she said "bitch and moan" in that interview? OH GEORGIE, HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME FROM THE DAYS OF THE POTTY MOUTH BUCKET.

Yeah, exactly. Exactlyyy. It's annoying though because if it starts when her family first leave, then it's already a little way into filming, which means Will's first impression won't be "wtf why are they joined at the hip", and he'll see more of the gradual progression of it. But I suppose it wouldn't be an instant thing anyway, so...gah. I don't know.

THAT IS ANNOYING. though i feel like since will's not actually a part of their relationship (yet) he wouldn't see as much of the gradual progression of it, like he wouldn't know the exact night she first spent the night, when they first started showering together, he would just see that they are super, super close, and i feel like even in the very beginning, before all the STUFF STARTS HAPPENING they would still be spending a lot of time together, more so than with any of the others, so i still think it's conceivable that they start out kind of attached at the hip and then become SUPER attached at the hip, and will can still be like "WTF???"

and especially if ben is off training for the first month or so of filming and he comes back and thinks "hmm, this is kind of new" but also not really because they have always kind of been like that, and he has no idea that this has all possibly developed over the last month (or so), so he is kind of the worst person to ask because he hasn't been there, and will thinks that he is legit going crazy, because surely they weren't like this a month ago. except for they kind of were. possibly.

That's a good point. It's just one of those little logistics things. But it does make sense that they'd be spending most of their time together right from the start, anyway, just because things would be different and it would feel most comforting to stick with the person they'd known the longest. And they wouldn't be like, shutting Will (or Ben) out, but maybe it would kind of seem like that at first, and that's what would first make him wonder about them.

Idk, would it maybe seem even more sudden to Ben if he missed the progression of it? He'd come back from training or whatever and be like WAIT when did you guys get so close?? So maybe Ben is just sort of absent on and off, which means he's kind of useless when it comes to reassuring Will about the whole thing.

yeah, i think he would just start out wondering about them and then just start becoming rapidly obsessed with their relationship in a way that the people who know them, like ben, obviously wouldn't because, well they've always been close, and he just watches them ALL THE TIME and they notice of course and THINGS HAPPEN, though i feel like we've already established that. whatever, it bears repeating.

huh, the ben thing is actually a good point. idk, then, but yeah, i think ben should just be milling about in the background on and off being useless, and wierd.
