Okay, so for some mysterious reason, no pictures have surfaced of Skandar and Georgie at the Knoxville Pre-Screening Gala or whatever that happened yesterday. Like, none. I don't know why this is, but luckily there is a video:

I love the moment at 0:20 when Skandar turns to say something to Georgie and she looks all startled and laughs. ♥ THEY ARE CUTE I THINK I AM SHIPPING THEM.

I also love Skandar's face. He looks really good in a coat, too. I don't know why that is. And Georgie sounds like she has a sore throat and it's kind of sexy. /shame

And I also love that they say they're going to be doing more press in the next couple of days. YAY. Although I really wish that Ben and/or Will P. could be there with them. At least we know Ben's reason, WILL WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE.

But anyway. I guess I'll update this post with pictures if they show up. WHICH THEY'D BETTER.

When did they all grow up i remember watching the first movie and being like d'awww lookit their cute little faces but wow now they're all so attractive and lovelyy, and smart with their awesome vocabulary when i was 15 my vocabulary consisted of 15 words (maybe less).

2006: Hm, Narnia film adaptation. I read that book when I was about ten. Cute. Maybe I'll see it. *does not see it*
2007: *watches LWW on television and/or DVD* AWWW, it's so heartwarming, what a sweet family movie!
2008: *watches LWW again* I'M IN LOVE. I MUST READ THE BOOKS. [I read the entire series...twice...in one year. whoa.]
*joins online fandom* OMFG Tumnus/Lucy. WHOA J/G. SO WRONG BUT SO RIGHT.
THEY ARE MY OTP/s FOREVER, AIN'T NO OTHER. [seriously, I stanned them to the point of actually ignoring all other ships. The ONLY fic I ever read was for T/L...I didn't ship anything else. ANYTHING. it was nutso dedication. A lot like, say, some HP fans are. *coughcoughRon/Hermione=mylifecoughcough*

Georgie played a younger version of her in 2005's Jane Eyre. This was back when Georgie looked like a little duckling. Now that she's older...wow, they really don't look all that different, when you step back and give them a general look. Close-up, there are several differences, but ay ay ay, the adult-to-child resemblance is surprising! Most kid-versions of actors in films grow up to look NOTHING AT ALL like the adult they'd child-acted years before.

That's very true. It's like how well the Pevensies were cast, because not only have they all grown up to be hotties, but they still look like siblings pretty much. I AM ALWAYS IMPRESSED BY THAT KIND OF CASTING. When the people doing it seem to be able to picture how the kid is going to look when they grow up.

LOL. I can't even imagine. HOW MANY SKANDAR/GEORGIE SHIPPERS WERE THERE BACK THEN, EVEN? I know I saw mentions of the pairing but I don't remember it being a big thing. Idk, idk.

UGH I'M STILL KIND OF CONFLICTED. On the one hand they're totally hot together and I always just used to be kind of like "ew" about the ship and I'm definitely not doing that anymore...buuut it would weird me out if they were together irl, and I can't imagine writing a fic that's just Skandar/Georgie. Skandar/Georgie/Will P., yes, Skandar/Georgie/Will P./Ben, yes, but idk about the two of them alone. I DON'T KNOW WHY. This will probably all dissipate in like a week and I'll be shipping them hardcore. That's how it usually goes...

IDEK WHAT MY TIMELINE WOULD BE. I remember watching LWW for the first time with my grandparents, and being like "do I...do I ship Peter/Edmund? SURELY I CAN'T, EDMUND IS TINY IN THIS MOVIE. BUT I KIND OF DO." And it's still written in my diary that "that movie isn't good for a slasher's mind" or something. And then shortly afterwards I watched the movie with the commentary on, and shipped Will/Skandar like there was no tomorrow, and delved into fandom and stopped feeling weird about it because it was mostly made up of James/Georgie. XD

And yeah, then one day I was like "...Will/Skandar/Anna?" and then a few months later I was like "...Anna/Georgie? Skandar/Anna?" and THEN IT ALL JUST SNOWBALLED AND NOW I SHIP EVERYBODY/EVERYBODY, THE END.

IDK why, but I've just never gotten around to it. I hadn't read the book yet when PC came out, and I didn't want to be spoiled for it... and I even have the DVD now, but it lies nearly untouched. i don't have a clue. i began to watch it once, but then I got turned off by the un-canon-ness, because I was a HUGE CANON DIEHARD then.

Idk I always find it hard to understand the canon-diehard-ness (for Narnia, anyway) because the books just wouldn't work as films if they didn't make any changes. First off, I just want to say that I love this comment. It's serious and lulzy at once. Plus, the WHATs go very well with the WHAT icon.

AND UM. UM. I DON'T HATE JOY, JENNY. (boy that would be awkward if i knew someone named joy. LEWIS'S WIFE WAS NAMED JOY WHAAAT.) I just, IT JUST DIDN'T HAPPEN. I was waaaaay more into the RPF part of fandom at first, or else things set in the Golden Era. (?? Pevensies rule)
And now that you mention Caspian/Susan, IT ALL COMES BACK. I said I was canon die-hard, yeah? WELL THAT WAS HALF THE REASON I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE IT. I read about friggin' Suspian online and just ~assumed~ that it would take up about a third of the film. Like intense eye-fucking sessions and contrived "I'll rescue you my love!! -er, I mean ally in war, yeah that's it...." type of scenarios. IT FREAKED ME THE HELL OUT. Very DNW DNW D'N' EVER WANT reaction. It was a pretty pokey thing to be annoyed about. I'm glad I left that tightassery behind.

And then I just got lazy and never ended up watching it. I WILL PROBABLY DO IT THIS WEEKEND. IDK.

Hahaha that's what I was going for with the icon. IT COMES IN HANDY SO OFTEN. LIKE WHEN I WANT TO SAY 'WHAT' REPEATEDLY.

I do understand the being-more-into-RPF thing (...obviously) and I'm usually 10x more excited about all the press and behind-the-scenes stuff than I am about the actual movie. BUT IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE DVD EXTRAS EITHER, THEN...WELL. YOU NEED TO.

Believe me, I was seriously pissed about the Caspian/Susan stuff too, and totally prepared for it to ruin the movie for me, haha. And it's not even that I was attached to the canon, it's just...NO NEED. THERE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ROMANCE IN EVERYTHING. But yeah, it's like two or three ~looks and then the kiss at the end and that's it. MOST POINTLESS ROMANCE EVER AMIRITE

So much pretty!

All these videos and pics of Georgie/Skandar (that is how I'm seeing them now) they look so happy and sweet together. They can totally make each other laugh (& probably know exactly what to do to get on each others nerves). I wanna see them with their arms linked, or better yet, holding hands. Either way with Georgie tucked up on his side.

Skandar in a suit, sweater, dress shirt, tie & coat and Georgie in a short sleeved dress! That girl! He needs to take his coat off and drape it over her shoulders (though I do see that she did have a coat of her own, I still like the idea of him doing that) They both look so good! He looks so handsome and mature, he has such a cheeky smile, so sweet, esp when he directs it at her. He really likes to touch his lips too (he & Ben lick their lips a lot). gah!

Oh Ben-so gorgeous! I love the shot where you can see his hand...I love them all, he has such a great smile and intense eyes.

I really want the 4 of them at a premiere together, just the 4 of them. Lots of pics on the red carpet and then some hanging out time, all cuddled together. & in my head for some reason the one I picture them all wanting to be 'with' is Skandar. They all speak so affectionately about him-Ben seriously adores Skandar & Will. I think he keeps his adoration of Georgie a little more under wraps (but we know better)

Knowing how to make each other laugh and also how to get on each other's nerves = YES. I feel like that kind of applies to the whole cast, but I can sort of imagine it with these two especially. I want to see them being a bit more touchy-feely too.
