So this is a thing that Ben said:
Will things change between the Pevensie children and Caspian?
Ben: The Pevensies are a very tight group and that doesn't change. But now I play the role of big brother/uncle. In fact, in real life their Mums (Georgie's, Skandar's and Will P.'s) call me "Uncle Ben" because if someone wants to go to a water park or the like, it's me who has to take them. It's a good work atmosphere.
That's one of those things that SHOULD make all the Ben shipping feel incredibly creepy, but somehow it doesn't. For me, anyway. How is it that I can like his uncle role and still want to write about him having sex with them all? NARNIA CAST, YOUR INCESTUOUS FAMILY DYNAMIC IS SO CONFUSING SOMETIMES. I feel like I need a 'ben/everyone' tag, what even, how did this happen?

There isn't much new stuff around at the moment, so I think we should take a look at some old quotes from LWW and Prince Caspian times instead. Just because I found them and hadn't read some of them before, and wanted to share.

Interviewing Georgie Henley and James McAvoy is like listening in on a private conversation. The two just keep their personal dialogue going, and you hope to be able to steer the direction a bit with a question. Georgie didn't take her eyes off James the whole time we talked.
I'm starting off with some seriously old-school stuff here, I know, but how cute is this?

How did shooting in chronological order help you?
Georgie: We got more mature, really. I was a bit of a spitfire on set, I was really hyper on set, wasn't I?
James: You were a bit hyper on set. But I didn't help, I was jumping around like I was seven.
Georgie: You were! It did help me.
James: I think so. You guys got more experienced, more chilled out. And you got so much more comfortable by the end.
Georgie: And you became more faun-ey. More goat-like.
James: My beard got longer.
Georgie: The thing is, when you see a goat, they actually don't curl under like Mr Tumnas, they actually don't go like that. He's already growing a beard now, see?
James: I'm starting to. But that was my favourite thing, watching you grow. They actually grew inches during this film.
Did...did I mention I recently started shipping James/Georgie all of a sudden? It's like, I couldn't when she was so young, and now that I'm shipping her with basically everyone else, it just seems to make sense. James's favourite thing was watching her grow! He was jumping around on set like he was seven! THEY'RE SO ADORABLE.

What's it like being a teen heartthrob?
Skandar: (laughing) After school, I was hanging out with these girls and there's one I've never seen before. So she runs up to me and tells me I'm in Teen Vogue. And I'm like, "Yeah, that's me." I'm thinking, this is the way to live. And she goes, "So you must know Will."
Will: That's a little harsh.
Skandar: Will loves it.
Will: I don't think we can prepare ourselves. We take every minute as it comes. Skandar will ground me.
(Still LWW-era.) Skandar will ground him! ♥

Can you reveal any secrets?
Anna: Will sleeps with his toy badger still. He's going to hate me for telling Girl Talk that! And Skandar's addicted to PlayStation.
WHAT IS IT WITH WILL AND BADGERS.

"Anna and Skandar were having a debate about how tall they were," Henley says.
"I am taller than her," Keynes interjects.
Henley counters, "No, you're not."
"He definitely is now," Popplewell concedes.
"You see, we are nothing like siblings whatsoever," Moseley says.
This is PC-era, but they're talking about doing the LWW commentary. CUTE.

When you're doing a junket and two actors come into the room together, it's sometimes a frustrating experience—one will take all the questions while the other sits back, or sometimes they'll even joke with each other rather than answer anything. But with Georgie Henley (who plays the youngest Pevensie, Lucy) and William Moseley (who plays the oldest, Peter), who have been working together for the last four years on the two Chronicles of Narnia movies, it's like hanging out with your favorite younger cousins. The two are clearly comfortable with each another, passing questions between them and throwing nudges and knowing glances once in a while. When Georgie refers to William as being like her older brother in real life, you believe it.
Cuuuute.

Reporter: So, how exciting was it for you to get this part to be Prince Caspian?
Ben: Um… do you know, I can't even describe that, that evening I found out. I told them to ring me anytime that they made their decision. Just ring me either way, I've gotta know either way, and it was about four a.m. London time when they called me, and I just ran around the house, screaming.
I just thought this was sweet—I love how Ben was so genuinely thrilled to get the part.

Do people recognize you?
Will: Sometimes they do. It happens in airports. And when I pay for my own flight, I don't fly upper class, I fly economy. So I'm sitting there with the newspaper and a bunch of Italian girls recognize me.
Georgie: Someone's got to be recognized by Italian girls, William. It's a hard life.
Will: It could be a lot worse.
Hahaha.

The four of you have obviously spent the last few years together and grown, judging by the chemistry on screen, have grown pretty close. Knowing that two of the four are not coming back for the next film, how hard was it wrapping that film as the "family" dispersed?
Georgie: Wrapping the film I think was okay because we do see each other here in New York and everywhere else, and we do get to that point where we've been seeing each other a lot for this movie and things. But I think it's going to be quite hard because I started auditioning when I was seven and I met the others when I was eight years old and I'm thirteen in July. And I think that's an amazing journey to spend with a group of people. And I think we all know each other so well. I could tell them lots of stuff about you (looks at Will) and you could tell them lots of stuff about me. (laughter) And I think that's a really hard bond, a really amazing bond and I don't think it will break—which is a really good thing! I don't think it will be broken because you can't break something like that abruptly if you know what I mean.
Will: I agree.
Georgie: We'll still be friends. (laughs)
Will: For me it was really sad filming the final scene. I know it was one of our final sequences on set and I was the moment where I had the sword over to Ben, and Anna gives him a kiss goodbye and it was sad...(laughter) we won't go into that...It was really sad for me and I said to Andrew you know, I felt like being emotional and he said, "No, just be stoic, just be stoic." And I was like, "Okay, well I trust Andrew, he's my director, I trust him 100%." And then when I saw the film I knew why he did it, because we were ready. And at that point I was still thinking, "Am I ready to leave Narnia yet? As William, am I ready to leave Narnia?" It's been a huge part of my life for six years. But now that I see the film, I do feel like I've moved on, I do feel like I'm ready for something different and ready for something new, and I know like Georgie said, our friendships will never...like whenever we see each other we just slip back into those dynamics again.
Georgie: It's like an old Easter egg mold. You come out with it, and then Easter comes around again and you pop back into the mold, and then you bake your chocolate egg like you always have done, and it's fine, and it all works very well.
GEORGIE, YOUR BIZARRE METAPHORS ARE MY FAVOURITE. I really love how it's all serious and sad and Will's reflecting, and Georgie's just like "yeah, like an Easter egg mold."

Georgie: I was getting so nervous about it because there was so much of the film that I hadn't seen because I just wasn't involved in it, like the battle and the raid and things, and someone asked me if I wanted popcorn. I said no because I thought I'd be sick! I did eventually get the popcorn, though, I was too hungry.
Lol idk I love her.

Will: I'm not in the next film, but as you know, Peter passes Narnia on to Prince Caspian. Now, I—essentially William—because I feel very strongly about this, I've worked on this for six years, I thought I had to also pass this on. It sounds really weird and I know it's just a film, but you know, this film is very deeply rooted. It comes from an emotional place, and so at the end of it, I felt like I was giving this over to another leader, someone who would look after Georgie and look after Skandar, and would really be there to hold the film up and to be a support and you know, I'm really happy Ben's here and I'm really happy that he's going to be taking over, I'm really happy that I think he's going to hold my sword with the justice and the pride that I did.
Georgie: I'm really excited about filming the next film with Ben because although Anna and Will won't be there, I think it's nice to have another familiar face with Ben and Skandar. I think the nice thing about the next film is also Eustace is coming in, our cousin, so who Eustace will be is still yet to be seen. But I think William's right, I think you do need that kind of column of support, and I think you and Anna and also Andrew and all those, but I think in the Pevensies, you and Anna have definitely been the columns in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and then Ben came and he was another column. But I think he will look after us, I think he will be that support which we need, and I'm young, I'm very naïve sometimes, and I get tired sometimes and you just wanna go up to Anna or Will or Ben and just give them a big hug and just lie on them and just loll around a bit. And I don't think Ben minds if me and Skandar go up and give him a hug.
I'm just not getting tired of the whole passing-them-over-to-Ben thing. ALSO, that last bit! Lying on them and lolling around! Her inclusion of Skandar in the last sentence. Looove.

How does it feel now that your experience now with Narnia is over?
Anna: Well, it's good and it's bad. It was kind of bittersweet the last days on set, the fact that you know you're not coming back and that actually these guys are gonna off and make another movie without us. But...
Peter (Dinklage): (in butch voice) We'll take it from here, babe.
Anna: (laughs) But at the same time, I don't think I could film seven times seven months and play the same part seven times. I don't think that would be creatively productive and I think audiences would probably get bored of watching me.
Peter: That's not true.
Anna: (laughs)
Cute.

You do a lot of acting with your eyes as Trumpkin, was that something you worked on?
Peter: Can I answer with my eyes? (Starts emoting optically)
Ahahaha. Peter's so funny.

What was it like to join the group who were already a tight knit sort of family unit, knowing that you would go on to make the next film but most of them wouldn't?
Ben: Well, there's only the four Pevensies, obviously, that are sort of the family unit and they were always ready for somebody else to come in and sort of join in and Andrew is a kind of a patriarchal figure and really does kind of look after everyone and ensure that you've kind of got that family atmosphere. But they were all sort of very affectionate and warm. In terms of handing it over as well, I think though obviously the two youngest will be back next time, which I think is great. I hadn't seen much of Skandar's stuff, I thought he was just so funny. I mean he's just throwin' those lines away like he does in real life. So, they'll be back. But I think it was hard for William and Anna, actually. Anna was a little emotional sitting next to me yesterday (at the screening) at the end, and William on the day that we filmed him handing over the sword—he found that very difficult to let go of that, y'know? He had a pretty tight grip on the...But he sort of did say whilst we were filming that he kind of gave me words from himself rather than the character. He was like, it's been great working, look after them, kinda thing, which was really nice. It was really, really lovely.
Awwwwww. Oh my god, that's the sweetest.

What's it been like to be in New York with your face on the poster plastered all over Times Square and on the side of city buses?
Ben: If you think it's strange, you should go to L.A. That is a terrifying place to be at the moment if you're me. Just do not drive down Sunset Boulevard by mistake if you're me. I was caught completely short of breath and it is completely surreal. It's very surreal seeing this person that's 80% you and 20% somebody on a building 10 storeys high. But, you know, there's no chance of me becoming flighty. Georgie came up to me yesterday and I hadn't seen her in ages and she was like "Hi. DO THIS! (thrusts hand forward)" And I've got my brother sort of staying with me at the moment kind of entirely mocking everything that I do, y'know? It's great.
GEORGIEEE. I assume he's talking about this poster and she was imitating his pose in it. SO CUTE.

Speaking with Will he mentioned that he felt confident that you'd be looking after Georgie and holding up your end of the next film.
Ben: Yah...
Do you feel any pressure about that?
Ben: You know, I've learnt how to deal with the younger actors from watching how him and Anna were with them. You know, it's lovely to watch how they are, and I was very cynical. I watched the DVD extras when I first watched the film and they were like, (in high-pitched whiny voice) "Oh, we're like family and Will's like a big brother, and Andrew's sort of like a dad when dad's not there…" And I was like "BUCKET, PLEASE! (mimes retching to the side) This is disgusting!" And then I get there and it's exactly like that! When I first walked into the production office, they were like playing table tennis with each other and climbing all over each other and sort of sharing food and...you know, it was lovely, it really really was, and that was the atmosphere the whole time. I mean, William and Anna did say that they felt—and Skandar and Georgie – that this film was much harder of them physically and emotionally than the first one because they were just kind of thrown in, they were kids and enjoying it, and this was a bit more like working. And I was like, (grumpy voice) "Good! 'Cause that's how it's supposed to be."
He learnt how to deal with Skandar and Georgie from watching how Will and Anna are with them. ♥_♥ I don't know why I love that so much but I do. And lol, his story about thinking the family dynamic was all fake and finding out it totally wasn't—so cute.

How are you coping with seeing you image around on buses and billboards etc?
Ben: It's a bit embarrassing. I remember when Mark Johnson first showed me the poster and I just looked at it and said to him: "Is that sensible? No one knows who I am so they're not going to go and see it." But he just said the book is called Prince Caspian, the film is called Prince Caspian, so we have to have Prince Caspian on the poster! It's very embarrassing...it was particularly embarrassing when I was in Los Angeles and driving down Sunset Boulevard and we passed a poster of Harrison Ford and Robert Downey Jnr and Will Smith and then there you are staring down at yourself. I got an accusatory text from Colin Firth, who I've just finished a film with, who took a picture of the poster and sent it to me and said: "Is that a real pout?!" And also my brother, when he was with me in New York, we were pointing out various posters and he said: "All right, all right, I get it, it's Prince Caspian, it's not you, look at the tan." So there's enough grounding forces around me to keep me sane.
This is really just here because I think I recently started shipping Ben/Colin Firth. Did you know that Colin signs his texts to Ben 'love, Daddy'? Because he does. That's a thing. Just sayin'.

Have they discussed you playing your elderly self in movie four?
Ben: The only conversation that I've had about that was with Howard Berger from K&B and I said, 'Dude, can you make me look seventy?' He was like, 'Yeah.' I said, 'Sweet.' That's the only conversation that I've had about it so far. Whether anyone wants to see me walking with a walking stick I don't know.
Of course we do!

In the movie, what do you think the White Witch is saying to Caspian in the scene where his hand is outstretched? Why do you think it's so compelling for him to reach out?
Ben: [Caspian] is not entirely convinced that the White Witch is a bad idea. He wasn't around for the White Witch's early reign. She's come out of ice, and Caspian's in a trance. She's very seductive. He's entirely mesmerized by her, and she represents some sort of way forward for him. In Shakespeare there is a term, "harmatia" which is the fatal flaw of the character. Like Macbeth, "harmatia" is his ambition. He's so ambitious that it becomes his ruin. Caspian doesn't believe in himself, and she's saying, "Come." She's the first person who, instead of saying like Peter, "No, we need to do this," she's saying, "Come." She's ethereal and maternal. She's almost showing him the way forward.
I just found this quite interesting—it's the first time I've heard Ben talk about the White Witch, and I never really thought about Caspian's feelings about her. I like that he calls her both seductive and maternal, it's so true. I also enjoy him throwing out Shakespeare references in the middle there.

Describe your earliest Narnia memory.
Anna: One of my funniest memories about being involved in the films is meeting William, because we actually had our first audition together. I was 13 and Will was 15, and now he's 21 and I'm 19. I remember him being very charming and very self-assured and fun. Andrew made us play a word game in the audition, and I beat William senseless. I won by such a long way. But he was lovely.
Hee.

Andrew: I remember after the first film when the trailer came out, I contacted Georgie and just kind of seeing if it was okay, if it wasn't too weird for her to suddenly be having people see her and that sort of thing. And she e-mailed me back and she had written that she'd seen the trailer and thought I was doing a very good job. And then she went on for two paragraphs to describe a game of rounders, which is a game they play in Britain at school, that she had scored two goals in. It was kind of like that was her big achievement and that made me really happy. That made me realize that she was staying true to still being a kid.
THIS IS SO TYPICALLY GEORGIE. Yeah, the trailer came out, well done, NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT ROUNDERS.

Reporter: What did you guys do off set? I mean did you guys hang out as a cast together?
Will: Yeah.
Georgie: Yeah, I mean, if you're in New Zealand, basically, there's so much adventure stuff to do and, (to William) go on, you know what to say. (laughter)
Will: We were in New Zealand, and I heard about this incredible bungie jump you could do and this was literally two weeks into filming, and I said to Skandar, 'I'm going to go and do this bungee jump.' And it's like a hundred and twenty meters, like two-hundred and fifty feet, an eight second free-fall, basically: it's huge. And Skandar's afraid of heights, and he said 'I want to do it,' and I was like 'are you sure?' and he's like 'I don't have any money,' and I was like 'I'll pay for you.' and his Mum wasn't there at the time and then he told her later that evening and Skandar's Mum said 'I cannot believe you did that! Why would you book it for so early in the morning?' (laughter) You know, she didn't really care that he was gonna bungee jump, all she cared about was that he'd booked it for so early in the morning and she couldn't have breakfast with him the next day. But anyway, we went off and we had very different experiences. Skandar was positively green before he jumped out and when he came back up, I've never seen him so happy. His face was lit up. And for me it was a very spiritual experience. (laughter)
Georgie: Well, we watched the videos when they went down, and Skandar was just sitting there and then he went down and he did a really good dive and he came up and he was all happy and elated. Will was sitting there, running his hand through his hair, and like breathing, and then he did the most perfect swan dive off the side, and then he came up and he was like breathing and it was like a Titanic moment or something, it was hilarious!
Will: It's good having on set siblings that are just the same as your real siblings.
Georgie: It was so funny.
I love how Georgie just KNEW Will would want to talk about the bungee-jumping. Also, I will never get tired of that story. Will paid for Skandar! IT WAS A DATE. Also "I've never seen him so happy, his face was lit up," = HEARTS. HEARTS IN MY EYES.

Reporter: How interesting was it to kind of share the hero thunder a little bit with Caspian in this one?
Will: Yeah, I mean, Caspian, well Ben Barnes, it was the first time I had met Barnes and I was kind of anxious about meeting him and I remember the first time I saw him and he was playing with Georgie. And I was like 'that's kind of weird.' Cause, you know, I'm always playing with Georgie. (laughter) So I actually met Ben and he was actually really cool. He was a really cool, down to earth guy and I was like 'oh, this is good, this is someone who I can trust.' He was someone who was like my own age, who I'd go out with at the weekend, we'd go for a drink and a chat about the previous week. And also Caspian and Peter have this rivalry, so you have to have a trust with the other actor, you know, you have to be able to really let go with them, and they have to be able to let go with you, to have this chemistry. So it was great that they chose Ben Barnes cause I can't imagine doing it with anyone else.
For some reason, I really love the whole thing about Will feeling protective/possessive of Georgie at first, with Ben.

Reporter: Georgie, what was it like working with Ben?
Georgie: Well, it was a bit of a rocky start because we were playing table tennis at the base camp and Ben came down the stairs and Jeff O., who was our Second A.D., introduced him as Ben and everybody gave him a hug and stuff. And I was like, why are they hugging him, I don't even know who he is? What's his job or anything? So he went in, and then my mom came over and said 'so what do you think of Caspian?' I was like 'What?' And she goes 'That was Caspian.' I was like 'That's Caspian!' So I ran after him and I was like 'Sorry, I didn't know you were Caspian!' And he was like, 'Oh, right.' And then, after that it kind of turned into like a really good relationship. And then we really welcomed him into the Pevensie family, I think. But he wasn't a Pevensie, which is quite nice, I think, for him as well. I mean, we were the Pevensies, and he was in our family.
Will: Like our adopted child. (laughter)
Georgie: But I do think he was like another big brother. I've got so many now! But he's just lovely and he's just as lovely as everybody else who works on them and he's so easy to get along with, and that's what you need. I mean, everybody, I mean Anna and Skandar and of course His Highness over here, they're so easy to get on with. (laughter)
Will: Royal Highness. (laughter)
Georgie: The Magnificent! (laughter) You know, so easy to get on with, and I think that's a great quality to have if you're a Pevensie.
I never heard the story of Georgie not knowing who Ben was at first! Lolol "what's his job". Also, describing Ben as their adopted child! His Highness! Whyyy are they so cute.

Reporter: What's your favorite subject?
Georgie: Surprisingly, I'm into the arts. I like english, I like languages as well. I like Latin and French and next year I'm taking on Russian.
Will: Are you?
Georgie: Yes!
Will: (something in Russian)
Georgie: (responds in Russian)
Ahaha what, since when can Will speak Russian? ...Not that I knew Georgie was taking Russian either.

Reporter: Georgie, what do you like to splurge on?
Georgie: Well.
Will: Gucci bags and Chanel. (laughter)
Georgie: Oh, shhhh...No no no...
Will: No, Georgie's nothing like that.
Hahaha.

Reporter: What are your favorite bands?
Georgie: My favorite band. I love the Kings of Leon, definitely. The Strokes, Muse, at the moment, I am really… oh, who am I into at the moment? Aw, I've forgotten. I've actually forgotten! (laughter)
Will: Not The Arcade Fire.
Georgie: No, not The Arcade Fire, but well done for introducing me to them. They're very good.
Will: Love The Arcade Fire.
Georgie: But, yeah, definitely Kings of Leon. They've just got this amazing...his voice is just amazing. It's very, it's husky and it's sexy (laughter) and it makes you, you know, you're intrigued by it and their songs are amazing. And I can play some of them on guitar which makes me feel very happy.
GEORGIE SAID CALEB FOLLOWILL'S VOICE IS SEXY.

Male Reporter: What are your thoughts on being sexy and a Hollywood heartthrob?
Ben: Ummm…
Male Reporter: Sorry, I have to ask.
Ben: Really, ummm...you don't have to...Sorry...(laughter) that was your question?
Female Reporter: Let me, take it from a woman.
Ben: Okay, you ask. (laughter)
Reporter: I saw the film last night..
Ben: Yes, yes.
Reporter: And all of the women around me, including yours truly, were swooning.
Ben: She's much better at this than you. (laughter)
Reporter: We were like, all, is he good looking?
Ben: Yeah, now you're embarrassing me, stop it. (laughter)
Awwwww, Ben.

Paul Martin: Now, you said before that you had never ridden a horse before, but then you said that you did. Can you sail a ship for Voyage of the Dawn Treader?
Ben: No. And, uh, but now I've definitely got the part, I can say whatever I want, so I CAN'T SAIL A SHIP! (laughter) AT ALL! (laughter)
Reporter: Did you get to take a sword home with you, or anything from the set?
Ben: Do you know what? I asked for a sword, I still haven't got it. WHERE'S MY SWORD? (laughter) They said they would give me a sword, but I really wanted one. I got one of, you know, Edmund's torch. I've got one of those.
Reporter: You're gonna need one to beat the women off. (laughter)
Ben: (laughter) Haha! I love her!
Lulz.

Reporter: Did you ever get Will back? (for the orange juice incident)
Ben: Did I ever get Will back? No. Well, not in so many words, but there was continual banter every time I would draw my sword. I'd be like 'Oh, so.. how long is your sword, Will? Big as that?' And he'd be like 'no, it's not.' So, I had the biggest one, so I was one up on him there.
Ah yes, comparing swords. *wiggles eyebrows*

Reporter: I'm wondering if they kinda had any traditions set up or ways they spent their down time that might have struck you as a little odd at first.
Anna: We're very eccentric people.
Peter: They're very eccentric. They stay in one trailer together. They have these pamphlets they're always trying to convert us to—
Anna: Yeah, it's more of a cult, really.
Peter: ...some sort of cult thing: The Pevensie Way. (laughter) They would chant on lunch breaks, it was creepy, but uh...what was the question? (laughter)
Reporter: Your answer is good enough, thank you.
AHAHA, THIS IS MY FAVOURITE.

OKAY ANYWAY BACK TO WRITING FIC. Not entirely sure what the point of this post was. I leave you with a gif of Ben and Will failing at subtlety:

BEN HAS BEEN MY FAVOURITE EVER SINCE YOU WROTE HIM IN RELATION TO BENITO SUAREZ. NOW I CANNOT GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD AND HE IS ALWAYS THE WEIRDO.

oh man, HOW IS HE SO AMAZING? and genuinely PERFECT whenever he takes a picture with georgie? THE TWO SHOULD NOT MAKE SUCH A PRETTY PICTURE THAT MAKES ME WANT TO WRITE ABOUT THEM DOING THE DIRTY. but it does.

WEIRD!BEN IS MY FAVOURITE. I mean I always appreciated his weirdness, I think, but NOW I GENUINELY LIKE HIM AND, IDK, IT'S NICE.

It's so true, omg. They just look really, really good together.

That gif is oddly mesmerising... (says the Ben/Will shipper like this is something new lol)

And now I have no idea what I was going to say in reply to this post lmao! Oh dear, fail.

I've wanted to ship James/Georgie for ages, but was always scared too. I think I wrote one single sentence of fic back round the PC era, but that was all I ever managed lol. Perhaps I should think about it again sometime.

Colin Firth/Ben = Epic ♥.

And yes, I have to refer to him with his full name because it's weird not to lol.

It really is, isn't it? Lol, hypnotised by the gif into forgetting what you were going to say. XD

Yeah, like I totally understood why people did, but I just never did personally. It just seems sort of like "why not?" at this point, though.

Haha, yes! I do that too.

They are such a genuine cast, they truly do like one another-I just want something, another project, a convention, something to bring them together (you'd probably get all of them except Skandar, the brat).
Watching them all together, they had such a great opportunity with the Dawn Treader premiere and it was a total bust in that way. The red carpet had them all spread out-I wonder how Ben & Georgie ended up together??
Then later when they were together, minus Ben (dangit) there is no really good coverage of that-just some quick vids and some far away pics.

I'm still bummed at the lack of coverage for the after party. An actual opportunity to see them ALL together, just hanging out-drinking, possibly getting a little handsy??

You know Ben says in that interview that Georgie/Skandar/Will's mom's all trusted him blah blah to take care of their kids-Uncle Ben (why does this give me so many dirty scenarios?) but Ben said in one of the interviews that 'HE' didn't get to really go do anything, but the stunt plane thing. Was he withholding? Forgetting? Hiding? I have all these images of him trying to wrangle them at an amusement park & the mental image of him having to hold Skandar & Georgie's hands (well Georgie would probably take his hand) to keep them from wandering off-Will would follow him obediently (like a little puppy-wonder how long it took for Ben to keep Will from 'yes SIR-ing' him? 'Just call me Ben' *gushes*)

Why do I have a feeling if you ran into William on the street he would be one of the sweetest people, just talk your ear off, tell you things he shouldn't, gush & ramble. Give you a bazillion hugs. I love the bungee story! & that for LWW & PC he did a lot of interviews with Georgie...& then Ben...which btw I see that gif & my first thought is '& then then kiss!' They are totally flirting with one another in most of those PC interviews that they did together.

Is it just me or has Ben filled out some? He's still tall & very slender, but his chest/shoulders have gotten a little broader. Maybe not. Maybe it's just the different clothes & the change in hair? Thought I bet he can still wear all the same clothes. He even seems a bit taller.

Have you seen this? (the second half of the video is actual video, not pics) http://www.youtube.com/user/homequestliberation he seems so tired but yet still trying to do all he can. So sweet! I could see him being a bit moody, not that I ever really have, but I could kinda see that part of him from watching that. It must be hard sometimes dealing with some of the fans, many are so incredibly rude and their sense of entitlement never ceases to amaze me-I would have to work on not being impatient with them-so many don't even ask if they can have a pic, or they just shove something at him or come up to him even if he says he has to go-I'm sure he TRIES to make everyone happy. I wonder if he has a short fuse? I bet he's really hard on himself, intense & broody-but he tries to keep that part of him private.

I guess I'm kinda lost as to the 'weird Ben' thing, that or I'm reading him in a completely different way??

Ben & Colin...oh boy.

I know how you feel. :( Like when the premiere happened, I was so caught up in the excitement of it, but now it's sort of like "...oh" because we're realising the chances that were missed, to see more photos of them together, in different combinations. I mean, I ADORE the pictures of Ben and Georgie, but it would have been nice to have more of the Pevensies together for example. It's such a shame.

SO GLAD IT'S NOT JUST ME FINDING THE 'UNCLE BEN' THING DIRTY. Awwww, him holding Georgie's hand and trying to keep track of them all in a busy place! WILL FOLLOWING HIM LIKE A PUPPY. Yes sir! OH SO ADORABLE AND WRONG ALL AT ONCE.

That is totally how Will comes across to me too. And the sexual tension between him and Ben in that gif is kind of insane - it's not just one touch, it's three, and you can tell after that they still want to keep touching each other but know that it'll look weird at that point.

Aww, I don't usually watch videos like that, that fans have taken, 'cause it always feels oddly intrusive, but I skimmed through it and he does seem to be being very patient and nice about the whole thing. I know what you mean, I would find that really difficult.

I feel like the weird!Ben thing started mostly as a joke, with some of my fics, but in general he just comes across as kind of kooky to me, idk. It's hard to explain. XD

BEN, WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME!?

Seriously, this cast brings me so much joy ♥ They love each other so much and are just like a family. You know how you see some casts and you could tell that the chemistry on screen isn't just them being good actors? Well, this is one of them. I had a cousin who knows nothing about the Narnia movies watch PC with me and she goes "Are the girls playing Susan and Lucy sisters in real life?" and it's just made me so happy.

I KNOW. I LOVE THEIR LOVE. I could read/listen to them talking about their family bond forever. That's so adorable about your cousin awww. They are one of those casts where you can just tell they get on off-set as well.

OH GOD THE QUOTES ♥

I just looove~ the whole Uncle Ben 'cause it's so adorable and reminds me of that interview when Ben says that Georgie slipped from...something and he catches her and her mum was like "THAAANK YOUUU! <3" jkfghfdj; brain is not functioning.

And the whole ~passing the kids~ to Ben, jhfd ♥.

YESSS so cute, like it should be wrong that he's in any way a surrogate parent type figure, but somehow IT'S JUST REALLY ADORABLE.

That ~passing the kids to Ben~ thing really gets me and I don't even know WHY, I can't articulate it. I just love it so much.

FFS I typed a gigantic comment here and then LJ ate it. DD:

ESSENTIALLY IT LOOKED LIKE THIS:

- Ben/everyone: YYY. BENITO BEING BENITO yyy, especially that bit about "being in L.A. if you're me", what even.
- Georgie/Ben! I know I said something about being able to see her being like "DO THAT" but it sounding really dirty and not actually meaning it that way.
- SKANDAR/WILL OBV. That whole bungee jump thing will never not be amazing.
- UNCLE BEN TAKING THEM TO WATER PARKS etc. Yep, a+.
- something also about Georgie/James seeming like a natural progression after Ben/Georgie and Skandar/Tilda, and seeing how, because they got along so well and so ridiculously when she was little, how that relationship would evolve as she got older? idek it was all basically me being a bad person.
- handing over to Ben/Georgie not realising who Ben was and having to run after him to be like "HI"/comparing swords lolol
- everything Peter Dinklage says?
- Caspian's thoughts on the White Witch! I then said something about how that epic Ed/Caspian thing I'm writing has the main plotlines of them both being weird about being/not being king, and Caspian being like "daddy issues! I have them!" and then Edmund being like "I SEE YOUR DADDY ISSUES AND I RAISE YOU THE MIND-FUCK THAT IS JADIS" and then they have sex. THERE, now you know what happens and I don't need to write it :p
- oh god I don't remember, fuck you lj for eating that comment
- OH OH, Georgie's email about the trailer and also rounders. <3333

yep, handled that comment with maturity and coherence, as always.

(ps: look at my icon, look at it.)

STUPID LIVEJOURNAL. Your icon though, I approve of it. Tilda with her hand down the front of her jeans = always necessary. I SHOULD DO THAT PICSPAM SOON. I also should have more than one Tilda icon, what with the amount I'm talking about her lately.

Lol there are so many little thing Ben says in these that cracked me up. WHERE'S MY SWORD?

Re: "DO THIS", I...can see how that would sound dirty.

V good point about James/Georgie making sense now that I'm openly shipping the other two big-age-gap ships. Also it's like, intriguing to think about it NOW, now that they probably haven't seen each other in a long time, because he'd be even more startled by how much she's grown up, and. Hng. I don't know. Bad person etc.

I KNEW YOU WOULD APPRECIATE BEN/CASPIAN'S THOUGHTS ON THE WHITE WITCH. Seductive and maternal, BEN, ARE YOU US? Also woooow I totally approve of that outline of the Ed/Caspian thing. TOTALLY. Also 'the mind-fuck that is Jadis' should pretty much be her full name.

MATURITY AND COHERENCE ARE FOR LOSERS. ♥

The question about being a heartthrob was actually to Ben! Unless that's what you meant idk. Ben seems very modest too.

Lmao columns and handing over swords I SEE WHAT YOU MEAN. Totally thought the same thing about Ben drifting off about Will having a tight grip.

To be fair, Peter Dinklage did do a lot of acting with his eyes in Prince Caspian, because he had this big facial prosthetic and his eyes were one of the few things he could move. But his answer to that question was hilarious. I agree with you re: handsome and broody looking, and how awesome that you saw him in the supermarket! I think he'd probably be amused about the name thing, haha.

THE VIDEO OF BEN PRETENDING TO KISS COLIN = AWESOME. I had seen it before but I am happy to watch it repeatedly. I'm glad other people ship them!

I BASICALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING ELSE IN YOUR COMMENT <3

So err, i've been sort of stalking your narnia posts a little bit, thought i'd de-lurk :')

This post is amazing, it makes me all nostalgic for when fandom was bigger back in 2008 *___________*

Did you know that Colin signs his texts to Ben 'love, Daddy'? Because he does. That's a thing. Just sayin'. IS THIS REAL LIFE? jkhdlkfhdk i like, don't know if i ship them or just am like in love with the fact that Colin Firth is actually such a nice guy irl. (i just saw the king's speech so i'm a little enamoured)

Aw man i used to ship will/ben SO HARD and i would have been all over that gif but ben/skandar appears to have eaten my brain recently, ngl. I love how adorable the entire cast is i want them all to be together again and for ben to have sex with everyone. WHAT. :">

(Also georgie has awesome taste in music, muse are like, my fave!)

Yay for de-lurking! Your username seems familiar though, I think we must have talked around Prince Caspian time? Idk.

IT IS REAL LIFE. THAT IS AN ACTUAL THING THAT HAPPENS. Also: you should definitely ship them. See this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQChpI48_vE), 1:15 onwards.

I never shipped Will/Ben, but I can't deny there was SOMETHING there, I mean, look at that gif for starters. XD I definitely prefer Ben/Skandar. OR JUST BEN/EVERYBODY. THAT WORKS TOO.

From: [identity profile] credulesque.livejournal.com
YES i am sure we did, as i know i have a lot of your old fic saved in my memories and stuff.

OH MY GOD. i'll have you know, due to that link, i just spent the last 20 minutes watching videos and interviews of colin and ben being adorable and snarky with each other jkdkh;galdkg.

WUT how can you not ship will/ben there was SO MUCH TO GO ON :') but yeah, ben/skandar is my interest atm *_* and i actually feel ok about it now because skandar is of a wholesome age, except he still looks about 15 <<

:D

HAHA I did the exact same thing yesterday after finding it. I love how snarky they are with each other!! There was one that I really loved--I can't remember which video it is, it's some interview for Easy Virtue I think, where Colin says something and Ben's just quietly like "yeah, but no one cares what you think," and Colin's like "no." They're hilarious.

I KNOW but it was back when I didn't care about Ben, and I also felt like Will was betraying Skandar, idk idk. BEN/SKANDAR IS THE WAY TO GO apparently I'm okay with Skandar betraying Will...

Date: 2011-01-12 09:17 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] credulesque.livejournal.com
HAHA YES i just watched that one! This is it :) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52AfyCQMY-s) haha! and i love how at the end the interviewer is like "so you're working together on Dorian Gray now, how's that?" and they're both like, ugh we can't get rid of each other JOKE WE LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH. And when they're describing working with Jessica Biel and the woman's like "she looked good in her costumes right?" and Ben's like "nah, frumpy" BUT THEN CANNOT CONTINUE BECAUSE HE IS TOO NICE AND COLIN IS LIKE >:| C'MON YOU CALL YOURSELF AN ACTOR BOY. /unexpected flail & squee :">

Lolol fair enough, idk it's hard to distinguish with just two people they're all so gay all over each other :')

Date: 2011-01-13 11:10 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] likecharity.livejournal.com
Ahaha yes, omg they're so funny. The way they're just messing with the interviewer/each other like, constantly.

SO TRUE this is why shipping everyone/everyone is the way to go.
