harmonyalr just sent me this article. Just the other day I was thinking about James/Georgie and what it would be like if he bumped into her at an event now, and how he's probably so surprised at how much she's grown. And then I was thinking about how we've basically not heard a Narnia-related word from James since LWW, and how much that sucks. But now this!

It's been six years since Georgie Henley and James McAvoy appeared in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe together.

While James, 31, hasn't seen Georgie, 15, in a while, he had nothing but praises to sing when JJJ caught up with him over the weekend in Los Angeles.

He exclusively shared with us, "I haven't seen Voyage of the Dawn Treader yet and I’m absolutely gutted. I've been ridiculously busy on X-Men that I haven't had the chance to see anything. Even though it was a long time ago, I still do feel a part of that family. It's a great and nice group of people who work on those movies.

"I'm really good friends with Ben [Barnes] and I saw Georgie doing press for the movie on BBC Breakfast one day. I couldn't believe how much she had grown up. I was absolutely shocked. I remember we used to play around when she was smaller — she used to sit on my knee and all that. When I saw her...she's a young woman now, turning into a very beautiful young lady. Then, I realized that I was getting old (laughs)."

I'm just re-reading this like ♥_♥, what even, I only started shipping them like a month ago. CAN WE HAVE FIC OF THIS ACCIDENTAL BBC BREAKFAST MEETING? Turning into a beautiful young lady. Making him feel old! Ficficfic.

And also, obviously, now James/Ben needs to exist. I didn't even know they'd met, I wonder when that happened. And guys, how nice is it to hear that he still feels like a part of the family? I really thought he'd just left it all behind him and didn't really care anymore. This has made me so stupidly happy.

Now to actually read the post.

THE TITLE OF THAT ARTICLE. GEORGIE HENLEY HAS GROWN INTO SUCH A LADY. Of course James would put it like that, motherbitchezz. OF. COURSE. HE. WOULD. Coherence = gone. WHY HAVE I GOT NO ALONE-GEORGIE ICONS??? Urgh no time to remedy it now.

VERY UN-FUN FACT: For years I've felt slightly EXTREMELY sad inside that James does not seem to be part of the main Narnia crew, or keep in touch with the kids/Adamson in any way. Even as a non-J/G shipper, that idea would be saddening to me. Jaaaames, how can you do something as wonderful as enter magical beautiful Narnia and meet its fantastic peoples and then just...leave? Leave and have a boring career with a boring but nice wife and a boring-due-to-age baby? HOW?? HOW.

So this article/post are giving me waaaaay new hope about James and the cast aw, hell — Georgie.

Since LWW, I've always secretly hoped that, if not with the others, James and Georgie alone share correspondence. my shippyness is showing Seeing this post really makes me want to write a fic that has been in my heart head for a long time....
Georgie and James exchanging emails. Their cute comments to each other and their opinions on each other's lives. He would give her advice to help sort out problems. She would tell him to lighten up about life and stop being such a grouchy old Scottish spaz.

...aaaaand then this comment devolved into email-exchange-comment-fic. but then it got too long and so i'm not posting it now. ;B OR uploading a new icon....

Aw what the fuck I'm posting the comment fic.

IT'S FULL LENGTH AND IT HAS ITS OWN SPECIAL FONTS AND EVERYTHING. I even chose the fonts based on their personalities and what kind of computer typeface I thought they'd use. Ben is in it and James and Georgie are... IDK just read it. :)

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN, I think we talked about it a while ago? We were all NARNIA IS A WAY OF LIFE, NOT JUST A PART IN A MOVIE, WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT JAMES?? I always had this sort of nagging sadness about it, so even without the James/Georgie-ness of this, it's just really nice to know that he does still care about them. ♥

I DON'T HAVE A JAMES ICON OR A JAMES/GEORGIE ICON, BUT I THINK I MIGHT NEED ONE? I NEED MORE JAMES EVERYTHING
