I think it's impossible not to love Georgie Henley. I think it should be considered a crime or a fault in a person if they can't at least find something to admire about her. She's beautiful and smart and making me fall in love with her and I don't even care anymore.

She's younger than me but her ideas about life still manage to inspire me.

You're awesome for keeping such careful tabs on all of this stuff. Every time I look at your journal, something makes me happy.

I think my final ten currently-paid-for icon slots are going to have to go to Narnia fandom. I was trying to avoid it, but I don't think I'm going to be wandering off anytime soon.

As for that .gif--I saved it to my collection of awesome internet things. The thing with Skandar is that... I dunno... for one thing he's just too damned attractive, even though I get a guilt-pass because I think we're actually almost the same age ...he sort of... he strikes me as someone I'd typically find annoying and irritating, but then he does something that negates it, which makes his annoying-ness completely endearing and it's so frustrating and um... idek... Basically, it makes me feel flustered.

But yes. Any Pevensie or Pevensie-actor love = ♥♥♥

I find myself quite tempted by cuddle-fic idea, in fact, into making some plunge into something I never thought I'd write. However, with IC-Narnia-opus-like-fic-of-ridiculous-length now actually in progress, I'm quite torn.

She's just adorable! I'm afraid I'm going to have to witter on extensively about her.
What I like about her clothes is that, yes, she must often get the help of a stylist (and obviously in this video because it's a fashion shoot), but she always looks like she wants to be wearing what she is wearing. She always looks like herself, if you get my drift, rather than as though she's been rooting through mummy's wardrobe. The other thing I love is that in videos like this which are a bit artsy fartsy, it could so easily be pretentious, but with Georgie it's not because she's so down to earth and isn't trying to be either an ingenue or a femme fatale. She's just a young girl having fun with some pretty clothes.
That's the second or third time I've heard her say she's not the most confident about her looks - does she own a mirror? But to be honest, though she should be confident cos she's gorgeous, I find it refreshing because all the really young stars these days are so immodest and over-sexualised that it's good to see someone 'getting used to themselves' at a more steady pace.
And her understanding of fame and her work ethic are incredibly mature. Everything she says about talent and working towards it shows her sense of perspective and how lucky she knows she is. There's absolutely no sense of entitlement with her.
Love the way she's walking so carefully in those shoes, lol! And how she says "I experimented with clothes more when I was younger" - uh, what, when you you were five?! She's too young to be able to say that sentence!

Lol, I agree with all of this!! It seems like she always chooses clothes that actually suit her and fit with her style as opposed to just wearing something because it's designer or it's in fashion or whatever (like *cough* Emma Watson).

And yeah, she's so mature and level-headed about everything. I think all of the Narnia kids are, but it's especially impressive coming from the youngest I think. I just love that about her. She genuinely seems like a normal teenage girl, and it's rare that you can say that about girls her age in the public eye.

I do wish she'd recognise her own beauty just a little bit! It makes me sad that she feels insecure about her looks, though as you said it's kind of refreshing that she's like that because it'd be quite easy for her to end up conceited about that kind of thing.

Yeah, all the Narnia people in general just seem down to earth, but I think she's innately sensible while still seeming like her age, which is a rare mix, especially nowadays.

I know, it's so unfair that someone who is genuinely and uniquely beautiful doesn't see it, but hopefully she will sort of grow into herself and confidence will come naturally.
