HI!

I'm not even really sure what this post is for, I just sort of feel like making one? It's been a while. I feel like I've been really ~absent, actually, because I went on holiday and I didn't have much time online because I was too busy being lost in the Scottish countryside and chasing rogue chickens and getting addicted to Bananagrams and playing 'Cow' (a game in which you shout "cow!" when you see a cow). Action-packed vacation, I know. Anyway ever since I've been back I've felt sort of overwhelmed by the internet? And I feel all out of practice with writing, even though it really hasn't been that long? But I'm working on a short little something at the moment and hopefully it'll be finished really soon. :)

OH AND ALSO, LJ is doing this super weird thing where it basically refuses to use the icons I want it to use? Like, I'll select one, and it'll be like NOPE and default to my Anton Yelchin one instead. IDK WHY, I think it's just a glitch, but yeah, if I respond to any of your comments with an Anton Yelchin icon even when it has no relevance whatsoever...that'll be why. I even tried deleting all my icons and re-uploading them and IT DIDN'T WORK. And also I have a suspicion that anyone who tracks my journal might have been notified about that, so uh, sincere apologies if you got a ridiculous amount of messages just because I was obsessively trying to sort this out.

Apparently I really don't have anything interesting to say here but I wanted to reassure you guys that I am still alive and like, around, if anybody wants to talk? I do get sort of scared by this fandom every now and then because of my social anxiety and it can be hard to deal with and some days I'm just like WOW I CAN'T, but for the most part things are still awesome. ♥

I'm gonna finish this off by recommending that you listen to Ed Sheeran's cover of 'Pony' by Ginuwine, and look at this picture of a guinea pig. But not at the same time. That might be a bit weird.

Hi! It sounds like you had a very nice holiday :) (and I'm totally playing Cow next time I'm in the countryside, haha).

I don't really know how to start talking to people either, but I love talking so... Hi! I should really be getting ready to go out for the day, but I'm not too bothered, haha. :)

And also, completely disregarded the "not at the same time", and well. I don't know what I want to look at more, because that guinea pig is terribly cute, but I absolutely adore Ed when he's performing.

I totally played that cow game when I was in Ireland! :D I thought that was only me. I also played the sheep game. Yeah I played the sheep game more, to the point where I would be playing it while I ate sheep. I don’t know, sudden changes to my lifestyle(…hotels, I guess?) makes me weird and uncontrollably shouty. I was with my mother the whole time, she despaired.

Once again, I’m probably being creepy because you don’t actually know me and here I am, commenting on your post, but I have social anxiety too and talking to anybody in fandom(anywhere actually) scares me quite a bit. I also have the tendency to constantly be like, “Is this creepy?/I don’t mean to be creepy,” which generally makes someone come across creepy and insecure in the first place. But it took me like, 5 years to write anything to anyone on the internet, so yeah I don’t really know how to speak/write. I’m open to, “How to speak/write!” pointers if you have them!

Anyway I hope you post more! Anything really, whether it’s fic or not, because a lot of fandom/the internet intimidates me but I never really got that from you. Hell, I even read your One Direction fic(I’m not their biggest fan, you could say). So yeah, I’m all thrilled with your existence, partially because of Alison Mosshart! <3 (I didn’t actually know who she was before I came across your fic and now I’m always listening to The Kills. :D) And like, I’m not going to lie, my first reaction after sort of meeting the Narnia cast was to look up fanfiction about them(YES, I AM WELL AWARE THAT THAT IS INCREDIBLY CREEPY) but also because I’m the insane person who saw Narnia 12 times in theaters. I DON’T KNOW WHY. BUT I CAN STILL MOSTLY RECITE THAT THING!

And LJ is like an annoying younger brother. Who eats your icons? Wait what? I don’t even have a younger brother so I would know, I have no idea what I’m talking about.

Anyways, I’m totally cool if you’re like, “Please get off my journal now.”

I've been awfully absent from the internet (especially livejournal) lately too, and I feel weird but then I think of making yet another "HEY GUYS I'M ALIVE IT'S COOL I'M JUST BAD AT THE INTERNET SOMETIMES" post and it feels like I'm going to be annoying if I do that so instead I just sort of lurk around my favorite journals and comment here and there. Idek why I'm telling you this, I guess I just felt like talking. I blame it on it being nearly 3AM here and, you know, sleep deprivation is my excuse for most everything.

So, er, heeeeeeeeey! I'm glad you had a fun vacation even if the action of it consisted mostly of playing Cow (I would totally play that if I ever went to the countryside. But my family's house is at the beach so there aren't any cows there. Er. Maybe next time I'm visiting my aunt in Nottingham or something, I think there are possibly cows in the Nottingham countryside, although I don't really remember any from the last time I was there, just lots of rabbits and squirrels and adorable fluffy animals running around the woods. See, way too much talking, sleep deprivation, etc etc). Aaaaand I'm really glad you're here and well and alive because, well, you're a pretty awesome girl (which I've probably told you like a thousand times, but I feel like saying again) and it makes me happy that you're happy and okay.

I'm just going to shut up now because this whole comment isn't making a lot of sense and I seriously need to go to bed. But, yeah, hey again, nice to hear from you, here, have more hugs.

Another thing on my mind...ZAYN. Jesus Christ, this guy is good-looking. You probably know how many times I've come across a photo of him and went 'fuck you, Zayn!'
