I AM WRITING PETRELLICEST AND IT HAS NOT BEEN DELETED IN A FIT OF ANGST YET. AND IT'S BEEN A FEW HOURS. THAT'S GOT TO BE A GOOD SIGN.

*clings to fic and crosses fingers*

It will get finished, it will get finished, it will get finished...

I also have an Italian-related question! My book says that 'e Lei?' means 'and you?'...like if someone asked 'how are you?' and you wanted to say 'I'm good, and you?'. But that's formal, right? What's the non-formal 'you' in that context? It doesn't say. :( Help me, Italians! XD

...I probably shouldn't be tackling fic-writing and Italian-learning at the same sort of time.

That would be: "E tu?" *is useful, yay!*

Think about some exciting way to use that in your fic writing! Like Italian sex talk between the Petrelli guys. *is shameless*

Oh thank you! :D I thought it would be something like that, it's the same as French I think.

Haha that would be amazing!! Lol, except that I barely know anything yet, so their sex talk would be..."Hello! How are you?" or like, talking about the weather or just shouting out random verbs. I obviously need to learn how to form more sentences. XD

That's bad! Smut talk is the first thing! (even if Italian one is quite disappointing...)

This makes me smile because you anglosaxon don't have the 'lei' thing... if I got what you mean, here in italian when you speak to someone and it is a 'formal' conversation, you speak to him/her in third person and not in second. If I say 'e lei?' the exact translation is 'and him(her)?' and not 'and you?', but as you don't make distinction if the situation is formal or not, you always say 'you'. Was this at least a bit clear? XD

Good luck with the Petrellicest adventure, btw! :P

Yeah, that did make sense. :D We don't have the 'formal' thing at all here. I knew about it, though, because it's the same in German, and I learnt German for a few years. But it is weird that we don't have that in English. And it's strange that it's third person! I never knew that. :)

Thank you!!
