First and foremost, Jesus Christ, if you ship Will/Skandar (hell, even if you don't) go and read hedonisticated's fic The Good Series RIGHT NOW. It's a four-parter with three parts done already, and it is absolutely breathtakingly incredible. The characterisation is perfect, the writing itself...basically makes me jealous, and if it doesn't make your heart ache then you don't have one. It's long, but every second that you spend reading it is WORTH IT.

Second, I will probably be posting my commentary post tonight. I actually took notes while I was watching, that's how pathetic I am. I was sitting there with my notebook scribbling down stuff like 'lolol Mr Lobster Legs'. (That will be explained.) Luckily, my Dad and his girlfriend are used to me getting like that over all things Narnia-related, so they weren't that surprised.

Third, I realise I've been kind of slacking with the fic-writing lately and I don't really have an excuse. I'll definitely try and work on all those requests. I also have this weirdly strong urge to write a Narnia RPF orgy!fic, basically Will/Skandar/Anna/Georgie/Ben. Which'd be disturbing and complicated and probably impossible to make realistic, but...agh I want to, so bad.

Lastly! There's that Christmas Wishlist meme going around. I feel totally weird about asking people to give me things (haha) but I do like the idea of the meme and spreading holiday joy etc etc, so I'm joining in. XD

STEP ONE
# Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV"). The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) can get in touch with you. Your home address is not required!
# Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
# Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part...
# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes one person's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.
# You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give and you might receive. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1) Fic, of course! :D Either written by you, or recommended. You can see the pairings I like on my profile and I'd pretty much be happy with ANY of them. But specifically:
2) Narnia RPF involving Tilda. Tilda/Will, Tilda/Anna, Tilda/Skandar...or even something like Will/Skandar but seen through Tilda's eyes. Basically write me something with a lot of Tilda in it and I'll love you forever.
3) You can't go wrong with a threesome. Tony/Sid/Michelle (Skins), Will/Skandar/Anna (Narnia RPF), Nathan/Peter/Claire (Heroes), Adrian/Milo/Hayden (Heroes RPF)...the list goes on, really. Threesome fic makes me happy. :)
4) There isn't enough femslash in the world. Sue Denim/Dee Plume, Anna Popplewell/Georgie Henley, Alice/Bella (Twilight), Kristen Bell/Hayden Panettiere, Demi Lovato/Selena Gomez, or any of the girls from Skins...
5) Pretty wallpapers. I'm forever having trouble finding nice ones, that fit -- my resolution is 1280x800 pixels. Anything to do with my fandoms, or just random pretty pictures, would be amazing!
6) Anything from my Amazon wishlist. I'm honestly not expecting people to spend money on me, but if you do, go used/new, especially for books! I actually prefer old books and don't mind at all if they're not in great condition. :)
7) Socks, tights, or hold-ups. I have this weird obsession with hosiery at the moment. Anything colourful or unusual. I love Sock Dreams and My Tights. Again, not expecting people to actually do this one, but if you want to for some crazy reason, email me (staticbyindustry@yahoo.co.uk) for my address! :)
8) Music! Recommend me some. My last.fm is here if you want an idea of the sort of things I listen to. :)
9) Pretty picspams. Of anyone, really, but I'd love ones of the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez, because I'm newish to the Disney fandom and I know there must be tons of pictures of them out there that I haven't seen yet!
10) I can't think of a tenth. I'll come back and add one if I do. XD

I get paid tomorrow, we'll see how much it's worth, or if I have to save it. Unfortunately I'm trying to see if I can get a MacBook, and NARNIA IS NOT HELPING. I might actually have to wait until christmas, jesus. Prolly not though, I tend to never save my moneies.

I was actually looking at MacBooks today, 'cause initially I thought it'd be UBER expensive for me to get one, so I figured I'd ask to get my room redecorated for christmas instead, but since they just came out with the new model, the old one is like $300 less, and I actually like it better. Idk, the mouse function on the new model is weird, even if it has better graphic quality. sorry, i don't think you needed to know all of that.
