FOX IS DOING DAWN TREADER. :D :D :D

Hooraaaaay. Apparently everyone's signed back on in their original parts and it's going to start shooting at the end of the summer for a 2010 release.

The only thing is that they're not going to be going to Mexico anymore, probably Australia instead. :( Idk why this disappoints me, I think just because I've created all this personal canon around Mexico and everything, and it would've been more exciting to write more fic based there.

BUT THAT'S NOT THE IMPORTANT THING. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WE'RE GETTING DAWN TREADER, YOU GUYS!! WE'RE GETTING BEN AND GEORGIE AND HOT, WET, SEA-FARING LEGAL SKANDAR, AND WE'RE GETTING WILL P. I'M SO THRILLED.

I didn't even know Disney pulled the plug and there was threat we weren't going to get Dawn Treader. GUH, I don't know what I'd do, and ha, all those fangirls would be like, "HDU NOT GIVE US SKANDAR ONCE HE'S LEGAL". lolz. Australia is prettier than Mexico anyways, unless they were filming in like, the Mayan Riviera, but it didn't seem like that was the case.

the goal is to get back to the magical aspects present in the first "Narnia" pic but mostly absent from "Prince Caspian."
--ew. I'm sorry, but they should pull a Harry Potter, because as the actors grow up, the fans grow up and the films should grow up too. imo. Plus, I want to see growed-up Skandar with kick-ass stunts etc. (yes, I get excited when he has stunts).

Like I said before in my previous comment, hopefully it'll give them some time to branch out a little. Unfortunately Skandar is lame, and he'll probably just do his school work, I swear if he quits acting to be a doctor I am going to cry, is that still a possibility?

Though, I guess it's good on him to get into med school. I find it funny that everyone was surprised, but he missed events for his exams and he's related to Darwin.

I think i am going to watch it this weekend, my sister is working basically the entire time, so I can't get made fun of.

Skandar is my favourite, I secretly want to be an actor in one of his films, but he will not be an actor if I ever become one. unless I get lucky in the next year, which is unlikely, since I haven't done anything yet to act upon this. I want to go to uni for music, and study performing arts. or something. unfortunately canada is a little crap for arts schools, that's why I want to go to england, that, and I love england. biggest run-on sentence.

Idk though, VOTDT DOES have more 'magical' elements than PC, so it makes sense that it'd be like that film-wise as well. But the stunts would be nice too. XD

like, I'm aware they want to go back to the magic, which I totally love, a lot. But, I just hope they do it well, because I don't want it to be too cheesey. I love my cheese, but they have to know it's cheesey, or else it's tacky. I don't know. I'm excited, and I really don't care.

it also means the actors can move and potentially do other projects. obviously they'll have their hands tied with VOTDT, but summer is a while away. I am hoping, let me hope. I want to see Skandar in not a dress.

I really should read the books, I had intentions to read them all when I was younger, and then I got to LWW, and stopped, and yeah, I tried to re-read them all before the first movie, and I ran out of time, and ugh. I'm going to read them.

I know what you mean. To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of the books. There are still two or three I haven't read. Last summer I was like I'M GOING TO READ THEM ALL, IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT I HAVEN'T, but the writing style got on my nerves after a while and I stopped. I feel like such a bad fan for it. :(
