hardparadeSo like...you know how I have a bit of a history of becoming spontaneously obsessed with rather embarrassing boybands?
Well. I have NO CLUE how this happened, but over the past week, I've been kind of like, really interested in Tokio Hotel. :/ If you don't know who they are, have their Wiki page, or be lazy and let me just tell you they're basically a German pop-rock band. I can't work out if this is more or less embarrassing than liking the JoBros. And Hanson. (Actually, I'm not embarrassed about liking Hanson anymore.) Gah, I don't know, I HAVE NO EXCUSE.
Except for the twincest. The band has twins in it and there is just SO MUCH INCESTUOUS TENSION THERE.
...Seriously, there's a trend here, isn't there?
I don't know, I'm like 99% sure that I'm not just delusional and that if you look past the ridiculous hair and the make up and everything, Bill and Tom Kaulitz are actually like, really pretty. At first I was only interested in Tom, and then I was like, HEY WAIT, BILL HAS TOM'S FACE, and then it was all downhill from there. I'm mostly only attracted to Bill when he doesn't have the giant hair, though. It's weird. It's like, any other hairstyle? WOW. But the second the hair's big, my attraction is gone and I find myself slightly scared of him. Odd.
ANYWAY yeah this is totally leading to a picspam so let's just get it over with, shall we?
I really, really love this one. I love how Tom looks in it.

Yeah okay, so he has the big hair in this one. But idek, his face is just so adorable! Gah.
Actually, can we talk about the hair for a second? It fascinates me. How does he get it to do that? What first gave him the idea? Did he look in the mirror one day and think, "Hey, you know, my hair's NOT QUITE MASSIVE ENOUGH"? And how does he sleep on it? Or shower? WHAT DOES HE DO WHEN IT RAINS? Can he ever wear hats? What does it feel like? THERE ARE JUST SO MANY QUESTIONS. IT'S SUCH A MYSTERY TO ME.

I have the shirt Bill's wearing here! It's this and I love it. I do get some weird looks though...it's like, I just think it's pretty! I'm not actually advocating suicide! But more importantly, THEY ARE MAKING A HEART WITH THEIR HANDS, HOW ADORABLE?!
His eyes are SO GORGEOUS.
Lolol every time I see this I'm like "Woah! He looks so much like Bill!" *headdesk*

One of the main things you need to know is that Bill seems to regularly serenade Tom and get down on his knees in front of him. Yeah.
I just...have no words.

I love these ones because it really, really looks like Bill is Tom'stotally hot girlfriend, lounging beside him at the beach all "Darling, it's so hot."
Also, Tom has no shirt on, which is always good.
Here is the song that started all of this for me:
It's called 'In Die Nacht' and this video has (kind of crappy font-wise) English subtitles so you can understand the full incestuous-ness of the whole thing. Bill wrote the song for Tom and whenever they perform it, they do it this way, with just the two of them, Bill singing to Tom as Tom plays the guitar. I think my favourite bit is 'You are everything that I am/and everything that's flowing trough my veins', but also, at the end of that video, Bill FULLY GOES 'There will come a time/we'll be together/in the night'. I know this is just a translation and also you know, it's a metaphor for death or whatever, but seeeeeriously!!
Here's a fun anecdote: I played my Mum this song and she was shocked to be told it was a man singing. I started cracking up, like "And you haven't even seen what he LOOKS like!" Later, I showed her a picture of the twins and because I didn't immediately say who they were or mention a connection to the song, she assumed I was showing her a random picture of two girls. Oh dear.
Also here is a gif of Bill kicking Tom to try get him to look at him while he's singing to him. XD
The thing is, it's actually a bit sad, because it's like, PAINFULLY, PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that Bill really, really wants to do his brother, and Tom seems to be (for the most part) pretty oblivious. OR ELSE I'M DELUSIONAL. PROBABLY.
BUT LOOK AT THIS
AND TRY AND TELL ME YOU'RE SURPRISED I'VE ENDED UP INTERESTED IN THIS FANDOM.
Speaking of the fandom, it's the type I can tell I'm probably going to end up really, really frustrated with after a while, and I haven't found any good fic yet. :( So I've sort of just been lurking around. I'm not used to liking foreign bands, I keep being surprised when I can't understand them in interviews. I'M SMART, I KNOW. I did actually learn German for aaages in school so I can pick up some words/phrases. Also, the English versions of their songs generally sound ridiculous, so it's okay.
I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. I should go to sleep.
I am expecting half of the comments on this post to be something along the lines of 'lol okay, you loser' and the other half to be something about how WAIT, BILL IS A GUY?

I mean imagine if the Jobros annouced they were gay, they'd lose their eight-year old girl fanbase. Well mostly, I'm sure there's more like you, who just like it for the fandom incest. :P
