THERE WERE FIC IDEAS ALREADY, THIS IS JUST FUEL TO THE FIRE YOU GUYS.
Then a bit later Caleb says that bands like the Jonas Brothers are really only aiming to make number 1 albums, whereas Kings of Leon just want to make music that they're proud of. And at the very end, they're asked which band they'd compare themselves to, and Nathan says, totally deadpan "The Jonas Brothers. For sure."

The hardest thing, I think, is trying to keep them in character even as they're drinking and doing drugs and sleeping around and what have you. It's so hard.

They definitely are vaguely creepy. I kind of like the way they talk all slow though, I find it like, half hilarious and half worrying. It's probs all the drugs and alcohol. Don't get me wrong about KOL though, like, I don't want to meet them ever and wouldn't want to ever know anyone like them, I'm just fascinated. You have to kind of just embrace the weirdness.
I know what you mean about the JoBros thing, I can imagine that's going to be a serious challenge. I think you can do it though, if you manage to focus on who they are now as well, instead of like...losing track of that and getting lost in what they're actually doing. MY ADVICE, IT'S USELESS.

I know the whole "pop acts like them only care about number ones" was a big brush-off but it's an understandable thing to say, they didn't just crack up like "Yeahhh, the Jonas Brothers are shit." And when Caleb's saying the thing about the hotel/boots, I love the way he sort of smiles and looks down.
IDK MAYBE I'M JUST MAKING EXCUSES BECAUSE IT'D BE NICE IF I LIKED THESE GUYS AS PEOPLE.

I think they're probably alcoholics, I don't think they're the nicest people, but I don't see them really concerning themselves with the plight of others? Like, okay, in order to be vindictive and petty about the Jonas Brothers they'd have to think that the Jonas Brothers are more than just a couple of pretty kids like Hanson, you know? Like, it's not as if the Jonas Brothers are a threat to them on any level, or even significant in any way? I don't know.
Also, maybe Caleb has a crush on Nick.Seriously, though, I don't think they're bad people. I think they're bad when they're drunk. But a lot of people are angry drunks.
