i'm not trying to wake you up

Why does Skins do this to me? It's pretty much always good, often great, and then every now and then an episode comes along that just makes me feel like I'm on a rollercoaster and the whole thing is sort of terrifying and amazing and horrible and wonderful, and at the end I just feel like a wreck. This episode reminded me a lot of Effy's episode last season, 'cause that was definitely one that made me feel that way.

I can't believe I'm having these feelings about Freddie's episode. I even felt for him tonight, I really did. And wasn't as sickened by him and Effy as I expected, mostly because she wasn't happy I suppose.

Can we just talk about the Skins cast for a minute, and how adorable they all are? I feel like we never got to see much of the old cast, although that might've just been because I never tried to (watch interviews and stuff) but...idk, these guys are awesome.

I might be a bit late but I only just saw the video of the NME shoot with Kaya (Effy), Jack (Cook) and Luke (Freddie), plus bonus Lily (Naomi). WATCH IT.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER REALLY WANTED TO WRITE SKINS RPF. Luke has more personality than Freddie! (Admittedly not THAT much more, but still!!) There are pillow fights and feathers and lots and lots of touching. Jack getting all excited about the trampoline and the glitter = awesome, "We've got glitter. We've got glitter and we've got balls." Luke cosying up to Lily is so funny. And I like that Jack admits that he and Cook are actually somewhat similar.

The whole cast spent six months in a hotel together in Bristol while filming! THIS IS SOME SERIOUS RPF FODDER, YOU GUYS.

Jack: "There's some people who don't wanna like Skins, 'cause of the fact that they re-cast. Fuck 'em." AMEN. I also love what Kaya says about how Skins isn't trying to tell people what to do, it's just THERE and you can think what you like of it.
