The actual point of this post was going to be all the Narnia randomness I've been gathering up from the past few days, but then those pictures turned up and I lost track of what I was doing.

Aaand finally, I had this crazy idea for a Skandar/Georgie/Will P. fic based on the movie The Dreamers, with Skandar and Georgie as Theo and Isabelle, and Will P. as Matthew. And I'm already discussing it with starsimpulse who is being AWESOME, but if anyone who's seen the movie has any input, I would be very happy to discuss further. :D You can read the comment discussion thread here. IT'S REALLY WEIRD, I KNOW, BUT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE IN MY HEAD.

I forgot how when the Narnia fandom gets going, hardly a day passes without there being something for me to post.

harmonyalr very kindly alerted me to these videos from a recent Dawn Treader press conference, and I thought I'd share. You can watch part one here and part two here, on a site hilariously called "Hollywood Jesus".

The highlight is probably when they're talking about keeping mementos from the film and Ben says he asked if he could keep Will P. And then Will says he asked if he could keep Ben. Why yes, that IS all it takes for me to start slashing them, why do you ask? But...so adorable.

This post is partly a way of making up for not posting much fic lately.

It is also partly because it seems like I have to do that 'post snippets of every unfinished fic you have on your hard drive' meme at least once a year.

But mostly it's because I recently got a new laptop (my old one was falling apart—literally) and had to transfer all my files, and that led to me discovering a whole bunch of things I'd saved and totally forgotten about.

Fun fact about me: I have, like, a ridiculous amount of pictures saved onto my laptop. Probably only about 5% of them have anything to do with my real life, the rest are all either fandomy or just things I find inspiring. Anyway, I don't have Vista so I don't have any inbuilt way of tagging them that I know of, and this has been driving me crazy for ages. I feel like I'm always trying to locate a specific picture and having to scroll through folders staring intently for hours until I find it. But, I installed Google's Picasa the other day, and that seems to be working pretty well. Now I just have to organise like a bazillion pictures. *sigh*

But anyway, I was doing my Narnia folders today, and found some pictures that I'd forgotten existed, and some that I don't think I've ever posted before, so I thought I'd throw together a brief, random picspam. Looking at all the pictures made me all nostalgic for the fandom! I'm so excited for Dawn Treader. :')

Fun fact about this picspam: I compiled it in Word, and I only upgraded my laptop and the desktop computer to Office 2007 YESTERDAY. Seriously. My Mum and I have had Office 2003 all that time. :/ (As you might have guessed, I've been doing some pretty intense computer-related organisation lately.) So, I'm really not used to the layout of Word 2007 at all, and I'm...not great with change. It took me twice as long as I thought it would to make this work. I kept messaging my sister like ANNA, HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP TURNING LINKS INTO LINKS? HOW DO I SELECT EVERYTHING? WHY IS THERE A BIG GAP BETWEEN ALL MY LINES? It's weird to feel like a computer newbie all of a sudden.
